EpsilonEta Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Location: A07 - Lesser Direstan Tags: Exploration You will have to wait a little for the follow up on the Dust Demon story. This is a flashback from one of Raven's first adventures and take place before Retaliation and follow up right after Scouting land and sea. To summarize: Raven is on Lesser Direstan to investigate a faint energy signature. Because of the dangers this early in the exploration of the galaxy Raven is sent ahead of an exploration team. I promised to show what she found but then tactics and race for strategic planets took priority. Now we well see what it was that got classified with Omega level security. The discovery I have reached the source of the signal. It's not an enemy base. At least not MANTIS or Dust Demons. There will be more on this story later (like when I have no other ideas ) The hovercycle is the same as in Scouting land and sea. Un-rendered images in the spoiler Quote
StarHawk3 Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 (edited) Nice temple. I like the red foliage. Edited October 11, 2015 by StarHawk3 Quote
SpacerSteve Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Wow that is a really great temple! The bottom of the plates make a great texture of the exterior of the temple. The red foliage is really cool too. Quote
LittleJohn Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 Fantastic work! The temple is superb and I love the foliage Quote
goatman461 Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 great color scheme, i think the anti-studs do make a great texture but it's a bit overused. some smooth surfaces to contrast might have been really nice. the overall shaping of the building is very cool and the proportions between layers is perfect Quote

EpsilonEta Posted October 13, 2015 Author Posted October 13, 2015 Thank you! great color scheme, i think the anti-studs do make a great texture but it's a bit overused. some smooth surfaces to contrast might have been really nice. the overall shaping of the building is very cool and the proportions between layers is perfect To breake of the walls with tiles was a good idea. It was plenty of space inside to make all kinds of stud reversals. When I get back to this some time I will add that. Thanks! The judges awarded you 5 points. YES!! Finally! Now I can quit AG. Commander Turtle Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 I really like the anti-stud texture, great work. Quote
