This time I will be referring to an old movie - and I present to you the "Dead Pirates Society":

This seems to be a thriller night...

.. not my usual colour scheme but I am quite happy with the way it has worked out.

I had actually though that the iconic picture with the pupils standing on their desks was also the movie poster. It wasn't.

Hopefully the reference is still recognizable.

C&C welcome.

Larger and more pics to be found on flickr.

The Master of Variety strikes again!

I think it looks pretty good even if it is mostly grey. It definitely has a dark mood. The various stones and monuments look nice.

Robin would surely approve...

Thanks - it has to be grey. The dead pirates come out at night.

Captain, this is my favorite MOC of yours. I particularly like the color contrast of the plants. You also always prove to be very creative.

May I suggest for future builds to try to build things at different angles, unless this was intentional? It may give another dimension to your MOCs.

Thanks, that is a good suggestion and I will try to incorporate it in future builds.

However, in this case, the cemetery was meant to be "lined up".

Initially I had thought of doing something with opening graves, etc. but then I didn't want to overload this and distract too much from the three pirate guys (which were meant to be standing on "tables").
