This may be my lost update until the day ends.

Vote Update:

4 of 2 (mostlytechnic): 1 vote (Captain Nemo)

Bock Pathos (Bob): 4 votes (RangeroftheForest, Dragonfire, Lind Whisperer, Sir Stig)

'Rip' Sewer (Captain Nemo): 6 votes (mediumsnowman, Bob, mostlytechnic, CallMePie, TinyPiesRUs, PirateDave84)

Non-voting: 1 (Hinckley)

With 12 players, a majority of 7 is required to lynch. You have about 1.5 hours till the day ends

Host Note: It is possible to get a no-lynch. Only a player who has 7 or more votes will be lynched. It is not "First to the Gate" It is by majority. There is no penalty for a no-lynch. Only a penalty for not voting for anyone.

Did you now? :look::blush:

You said it was lost.

Generally it's first to the gate so I don't think we can have a no-lynch if 2 players have 7 votes

Speak for yourself.

You said it was lost.

Yeah, I saw that shortly after posting. You're such a ninja!

Guess that was not "My Lost" post till day-end.

It's late. :shrug_confused:

Are you the houseplant I'm hiding behind? Because you need watering.

Anyway, leave us alone! We're playing a game here.

I'm nervous. The votes came in weird... like somebody was trying to force a tie. It will be interesting to see what Rip flips.

Rip hasn't said anything since he asked about Bock fake–claiming, has he?

I was distracted by the weird voting pattern.

I PMed Rip after I made my case against him earlier and this is what I gleaned:

1. He claims Vanilla Townie

2. He says he's suspicious of Clementine

3. He's also suspicious of Dave

4. He doesn't like Minga claiming special non–Action prank roles mean that the person is Town, yet this is long after Minga admits this was utterly stupid

5. He thinks it's megablocks that Minga is asking for counter–claims, which is a weird thing to say to me who was the one telling Minga to do so and demonstrating the difference

So, despite my worries about the other voters for Rip, I feel confident in my vote. My reads apparently aren't great anyway. Perhaps the best test of suspicions is to go with the opposite of what I'm seeing.

Yet I still really want to lynch Paul.

:look:

Um, so what if we're wrong and there are five Scum? I don't like how people are hovering over this watching it. Nathan, Bock, Paul...

If I unvote, we won't have a lynch and then we're guaranteed another day. This is killing me. Help! I'm left alone to ramble by myself. :cry_sad:

I know. One minute, we were voting for Bock - and then everyone suddenly starting voting for Rip.

...This isn't me defending myself, this is me quoting other people's evidence. What, exactly, makes him more suspicious of me than of anyone else? As it goes, I'm about as confirmed as it's possible to be. I mean, suspect everyone till the end, that's how it works, but...

If the SK was nice, and stayed home, we would only loose one townie*. Wouldn't it be in the SK's best interests to stay home, so Town could survive the longer? (Assuming they can't be recruited by scum or something I'm not thinking of...)

*Unless there was a convert action or something I'm not thinking of.

Well, I can't really defend myself against a gut intuition can I? I can only recommend some aspirin to soothe it. I'm glad you're voting with your gut. It's worked out for other people so well before.

In some cases it has :sweet: At least you came in to defend yourself, I guess, unlike Rip.

It's a joke! :sweet:

That's the middle ground theory! *oh2*

The more you play, it'll become :hmpf_bad: and then :wall: and then :damn: and then, finally :enough: but never use :sadnew: because it's patented.

Joke!

It ends 72 hours after the timestamp of the first post. Sheesh. :enough:

So, the people I find suspicious are voting for Rip but I was going to vote for Rip but now the people I was leaning Town on are voting for Bock...

Alright, alright, I’m not THAT funny people

I do agree with your last point though. I don’t mind lynching Rip, and in some ways I find him suspicious, but the way the votes piled on him was weird. The day is basically over, and we have a lynch, so there’s not really a point in me changing my vote now. I’m feeling very antsy about our situation at the moment. Here’s hoping the next day, if there is one, is better than this. We need to start catching some scum, dang blast it.

It depends on their win condition. If he/she can win with either side...they have zero reason not to Scum–side. We can ask.

Serial Killer, would you not kill anyone tonight so the Town stands a chance? Pweeeeeeeease? :cry_happy: Don't be a numpty bawbag! Be a sport!

There, that's an official request. :look:

RULES!

1. Each player will be given a character to play, who will be aligned with either the Federation (Town) or Blacktron (Mafia). To win the game, the Town must kill off all the Mafia, while the Mafia needs to outnumber the Town. Third-Party (neutral) characters have their own win conditions as outlined in their roles.

This is rule one in this game and it's how I would word the win conditions if my Serial Killer could win with either side. :sceptic: But again, nobody knows what his/her win condition is, so we can hope. I guess...

Ok, I'm finally back behind my space computer. Seamus, you've stated multiple times that you think I'm suspicious, but you've never given an actual reason. Care to elaborate?

Also, out of curiosity, would you have been happy to hammer Bock or would you have preferred a no lynch in that case? You seem to have taken a very arbitrary approach to voting ever since the two people you built a case against claimed PRs, which seems unusual for you. I know you've explained that you don't want to influence the vote, but I'm not buying that anyone is actually incapable of voting without you.

I would've hammered Bock.

You're always hard to read and your king of that middle ground. Remember when you were Scum in Unrest in the Forest? You're hard to read and your territory is that middle-ground that I don't like.

There were concerns people were bandwagoning onto whomever he voted for, so he was purposely waiting to vote so that wasn't possible.

I'm staying up. Watching a movie. Have my iPad. Keeping an eye.

Are you still thinking about a no-lynch?

I think it would be best for town's chances of survival, but I could be wrong.

Just...something feels wrong about the Rip wagon. And Bock...he just kind of feels like a player who's not really into the game. :hmpf_bad:

I don't know.

But I was an oak in that game! :cry_sad: I can't believe after all this time you still think I'm a rotten maple. Ung jeong jia ching jien soh... :hmpf_bad:
