I apologize for my relative inaction today RL is kicking my megablocks.

I'm going to vote: Seamus(Hinck)

Because there is no way he should have defended Clem like he did ... Unless he knew his affiliation ... Which he almost certainly doesn't ... Or does because he is scum.

This is pinging me real bad. I don't remember Hinck ever overzealously defending Clem... :look: You seem to just be voting for him out of the blue and there is almost no chance of Seamus actually getting lynched. Seems very fishy to me. :hmpf: In fact, fishy enough that I'll

Unvote: Major Dave (fhomess)

and

Vote: Paul Harkonnenn (Piratedave84) :hmpf_bad:

Here's the update:

Thank you for changing it from Piratedate to PirateDave as it should be. :hmpf: They have very different meanings.

And to really be a nitpick, here's the Mafia standard for tallying votes:

Claw (theLazychicken): 10 votes (CallmePie, Ranger of the Forest, Hinckley, Tariq j, Captain Nemo, Dragonfire, fhomess, mostlytechnic, Bob, Sir Stig)

Laura Starbucks (Tariq j): 1 vote (Lind Whisperer)

Paul Harkonnenn (PirateDave84): 2 votes (theLazyChicken, mediumsnowman)

Seamus Aaron (Hinckley): 1 vote (PirateDave84)

 Yes, that's host–pestering, sorry.

Why would the makeup artist, which you still haven't clarified if it's a role or that prankster we saw, be asking for other roles? The makeup artist has been verified to be outside of the game and just the host letting the players have a wee bit of fun.

It is paraphrasing for a role. In the setting I paraphrased in, It was the first thing I thought of, when I chose Actors as the senders.
I don't get this at all... people spent so much time telling others not to claim to Seamus that they're all claiming to Zipzop?

Who needs drugs?!?!?!

I DO!

Nonvoting: 2 (TinyPiesRUs, Lady K)

9 votes to lynch. 2 hours 30 minutes till day end. 1 is the loneliest number. 2 can be as bad as one; it's the loneliest number since the number one.

 Yes, that's host–pestering, sorry.

 no worries, mate! Sorry for not following the standard thusfar. I'll fix my previous tallies soon as well for ease-of-read. :classic:

There's no need to paraphrase the role, ISO. Is it an actual PR or one of the prankster things we've seen from the pictures?

When you get home from your pirate date, naturally.

I was going after Clem for a reason I thought was valid and all my actions were contested by Seamus. I call it defending, you can call it whatever you want.

Seamus found it necessary to shut down my comments to Clem.

Yeah but I can't help but think this information is more beneficial to the scum than town. Imagine for one moment that scum had found out who the vig (or any PR for that matter) is and they kill him/her, now the scum knows the role will pass on and expects it to. Whereas if you had kept quiet, this role would have been passed on without anyone knowing and would surely have confused the hell out of them.

You also clarified for scum that they failed to kill a PR so you eliminate all doubt to that effect so they know to expect investigations, kills and whatever other NA there may be.

All this to say, I'm ready to believe you but I think you should not have claimed and that you did reveal too much information.

I was going after Clem

You were going after her? Funny that it seems more like you were postulating that she is Town and has that role and berating her for how she handled it. You even say you're ready to believe her. I disagree with your reasons for berating her but you seem to think you were going after her. If you suspected her, I propose you did a poor job communicating that. And as I pointed out that you seemed to be blowing things out of proportion, the more I look at it the more it seems like Scum trying to appear concerned for the well–being of the Town.

Are you trying to act Scummy so the vig will target you and you can redirect him or her? :look: Sorry, copious amount of space spice makes me paranoid.

No one's shutting down anything - if you have thoughts, share 'em. But don't expect that people won't dissect 'em.

Vote: Claw (TheLazyChicken)

Ok, so I have had a few too many and my interstellar communication device is really not cooperating now so here is my vote. Today I agree with what has been said and don't have anything new to add.

Oops, I hadn't realised how little time we had left in the day. I'm going to Vote: Claw (TheLazyChicken), for reasons I brought up earlier.

Surely, I agree with that it is odd to claim to me, since this is my first game and I would likely screw things up. Which I may be doing by blurting this out. It could also be an attempt to play the noobs. Sorry for taking so long, I was going through Mingas post and her voting analysis.

Here it is (with much bravado): The Tale!

In a world gone madde, an actor claims the throne, and wants his make up artist to join the court.

Actor 1: "Hi, I know I look like a black sheep but I have a role in this. I know stuff about the make up artist."

Actor 2 (looks with dismay and suspicion at actor 1) "You lookalikea man. Have I been bothering you and you want me to stop? Why me?"

Actor 1: "You bring up good advices and are good at spotting space worms. We should follow up on those sightings. It may save us from being devoured. Also in this void empty space of the unknown, you seem like the only one I can trust. Do you know any other actors? I would like to get in touch."

Actor 2: "No. I won't."

...

Actor 2: "None shall pass. Keep flattering me though".

Actor 1: "Yeah man I hear you. However I know this one thing about the make up artist".

Actor 2: "If you really are an actor, you should try a modeling agency and audition, and get a health check. They apparently need that every 30 days or sumfin."

The End.

All names are fictional, except Actor 2. That's my middle name.

The make up artist also contacted me.

I'm not quite sure I'm following this. Were there two separate people who contacted you, one who claimed to know about the make-up artist, and one who claimed to actually be the make-up artist?

I'm lost ... What's being reproached here? I stated I did not agree with the quality of the analysis and was told it was good and to shut up and when I didn't, I became scummy ...

Clem and Seamus got a weird thing going on here ... They stand of for each other when there's no real need to do so. It'd be stupid for scum to so blatantly backup each other so my guess is that one of them is town and one is scum.

Nah, you've been Scummy the whole time.

One claiming tracker (there, it's out there), and claiming he had a result on the make up artist (no clues in the pictures, purely coincidental choice of actor-related person to stick to the theme in my fabulous play, but obviously no one appreciates art nowadays).

Can you speak outside of metaphors and non–parenthetically for a second? One's a tracker and he/she tracked...what role?

And why are you not believing them and why would they contact you about it?

And how did those six lines of dialogue take up so much time?

Why did the tracker contact you about this? Because you're good at spotting space worms? Why were you were the only person they could trust? And why was it necessary for them to reveal this to anyone at this stage?

Yeah, the space worms was me paraphrasing flattery. I don't know why I were the only one the tracker could trust, the reason was that I apparently have made a lot of helpful town posts in the trackers eyes. I have doubts about both of them, mostly because of their convenient timing, but the flattery and asking to get in contact with others... That is making my scumdar tick. .

Did the tracker track one person targeting two people?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't the only person that could target two people be a re-director?

(Possibly also Shape-Shifter, depending on how that role works...)
