Nemo57 Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 (edited) Thank you for watching. Is there enough photos? Edited July 25, 2015 by Nemo57 Quote
Nemo57 Posted July 25, 2015 Author Posted July 25, 2015 (edited) Yes. Lego City style. Edited July 25, 2015 by Nemo57 Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 Very interesting train vehicle ...and the crane looks amazing! Quote
Man with a hat Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 Nice. I like the working mechanism of the crane. It is a strange thing, but it really looks like the real thing. Quote
dr_spock Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 (edited) Yes. Lego City style. Cool. Do you have any information on the DGKu? There doesn't seem to be much published about the unique crane car. Don't know why someone would replace the overhead crane with a knuckle boom crane. Edited July 27, 2015 by dr_spock Quote
Nemo57 Posted July 27, 2015 Author Posted July 27, 2015 (edited) An interesting case on video. This self-made modification, I do not know this. Edited July 27, 2015 by Nemo57 Quote
JopieK Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 Hi Nemo thanks for posting the extra link and very detailed pictures, but be sure to always put the English translation here. Although with Google Translate we can get the idea, this is an English forum so please keep that in mind. Quote
Nemo57 Posted July 27, 2015 Author Posted July 27, 2015 I deleted a reference to the Russian and the English-here. But the picture is not enough. https://www.google.ru/search?q=%D0%B4%D1%80%D0%B5%D0%B7%D0%B8%D0%BD%D0%B0+%D0%B4%D0%B3%D0%BA%D1%83&newwindow=1&espv=2&biw=1920&bih=955&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0CBsQsARqFQoTCLnt-8vk-sYCFYr3cgodEhkLoA#newwindow=1&tbm=isch&q=DKGu+ Quote

JopieK Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 Thanks. Clear. Here is a nice video: Also nice (the last bit), I like the idea to have a shovel at the back! And here even two: Quote
paul_delahaye Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 (edited) Nice representation, but what a weird railway crane. It looks very top heavy. Edited July 27, 2015 by paul_delahaye Quote
THERIZE Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 I understand, what I sometimes do if I post in Dutch is put the translation right under it. huh. i didn't know its aloud to talk in other languages here. but thanks for the tip Quote
JopieK Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 huh. i didn't know its aloud to talk in other languages here. but thanks for the tip (That would be "allowed", teacher in me jumps out now and then ;)). While we would not stimulate it, sometimes there is no other option. The original is than in non-English and if it is useful just make sure that you translate it at least so that everyone is able to follow it. Also try to limit it of course. Quote
dr_spock Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Thank you for the Google image links. I like seeing different railway equipment from other countries. For some reasons, the original link in Russian to Google.ru has more images of the crane than the English version or the Dutch Google.nl version. The crane looks like a little tower crane like the type you see constructing tall buildings. Quote
zephyr1934 Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 The crane looks really good, I like all of the attention to the finer details Quote
Legotom Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Great build of a very unusual prototype. Really unusual train, and you've captured it extremely well in Lego. Also, I love the yellow and red colours. Quote
