Chromeknight Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 WHAT??? There's something wrong with your investigator, Pudding. Are you reaction testing or what?! Would you like to suggest a possible mechanism for it being wrong? If it's pudding or the investigator that's scum and flat out lying, Is there some possibility that, 3 down, the scum could be close to winning that they'd risk this? Since if you flip town, they'd be next on the chopping block?
Dragonfire Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 Nah, I doubt they're flat out lying, but there could be a framer, naive cop or redirector in play?
Chromeknight Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 Naive cop would peg everyone as town. If there's naive cop saying you're scum, someone is lying. Redirector. Could be a town redirector or scum redirector. If town, we've heard. If scum, theyd have to have targeted the cop, which would me the scum know who it is. But if that's the case, why didn't they just kill the cop. Plus a redirector a game with a serial killer/vig is rare, especially a scum redirector. Framer. You'd have to be singularly unlucky to be the target of both the framer and the cop on the same night. Any of those situations above still suggest lynching you to test the cop. *if there was a town redirector we would have heard*
Dragonfire Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 Yeah, I agree with lynching me too. Just don't lynch Pudding or the investigator when I flip town

JackJonespaw Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 Vote:Dar (Dragonfire) 'Tis what the investigator hath decreed.
Tariq j Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 Nah, I doubt they're flat out lying, but there could be a framer, naive cop or redirector in play? There could even be a paranoid cop or insane cop.
Dannylonglegs Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 As I explained to Pudding-Head several days ago, my silence isn't damning. I agreed to this mission acknowledging that I would be much more silent than in the past. It's not your silenCE that I find suapicious. It's what you say when you do speak that has me suspicious. I've been on a lot of people's radars. Unfortunately, other than Pudding-Head, I don't recall anybody else bringing up anything incriminating about me other than my activity, which as I said, was going to be low no matter what. Your lack of real elaboration on what specifically makes me "overall scummy" is concerning, and leaves me wondering where you could actually be aligned given the fact that you haven't been too much of an innocent seeming player yourself.
Maybe it's just confirmation bias speaking, but this post is a good example of what I mean. You got really defensive the first time your name was mentioned, and now you've inserted a minor OMGUS into this reply, and followed up your self-defense comments with what amounts to an at-best not-helpful, at worst detracting questioning of the town block. I must have missed it; what "sting" did Lodmund pull yesterday?
I might be misusing "sting". I was referring to his conversation with the scum that resulted in his lynching. How did you misread what Canute said? It looks like you're replying to him saying something like "you should have listed yourself", when he quite clearly didn't say anything like that, and it would be very odd for you to know what he was going to say in advance, so how did you originally read his comment? I originally read it as "one of those is you, Danr" expecting him to be calling me out for my lurking, which he proceeded to do in his next post instead! I'm litterally rolling on the floor laughing ... We're going to be 4 in 5; scum must be PISSED! Vote: Dar (Dragonfire) In your opinions, are we looking at 4 or 5 scum in this situation? Could Dar be the last one? I don't think we could have as few as 4 scum in a game with this many players... especially if the talk of conversions has any truth to it. I think more e likely we're facing 5 or 6 with conversions. So 1 or 2 more, imo. Well Whoever the Investigator is good job I'm on my phone right now which can't embolden text so hopefully this counts. Vote:Dar (Dragonfire) Why does this come up so oftwn. I have typed at most 3 times from my home computer. To bold, you do this [ b ] text [ / b ] Like this: Unvote: Toki (TrumpetKing) Vote Dar: (Dragonfire)
Pandora Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 As for the Pudding-Head scenario, I've explained several times that it was a communication error. I spoke to Tarben once about how something seemed off. That was it. He then relayed that to Pudding-Head saying I was strongly campaigning for his lynch, which was not the case at all. Once again, I merely expressed a slight concern, and left it at that. I remember you saying you felt strongly about Pudding, so I asked why you hadn't voted for him if you did feel so strongly. And then you voted for Pudding. So you didn't 'express a slight concern and leave it at that'. Also, how exactly did that last statement read as if I knew about Tarben's role? I pretty clearly said I suspected him to be a Third Party, and not corrupted. Other people have got it. Even Ragnvald's got it (no offence Ragnvald, but you are new). It was the fact that you didn't even consider him to be scum, despite being surprised that he was town. However, to the matter at hand: He's Scum, according to the investigator. Unvote: Toki (Trumpetking) and Vote: Dar (Dragonfire) WHAT??? There's something wrong with your investigator, Pudding. Are you reaction testing or what?! Nah, I doubt they're flat out lying, but there could be a framer, naive cop or redirector in play? So in your initial under-reaction you believe there's something wrong with the investigator, then you roll over and say they can't be lying and list one possible reason, one impossible reason and then you just pluck 'redirector' out of thin air? Yeah, I agree with lynching me too. Just don't lynch Pudding or the investigator when I flip town Eh? You just wouldn't say this if you actually were town.
Adam Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 Yeah, I agree with lynching me too. Just don't lynch Pudding or the investigator when I flip town Why are you encouraging us to not lynch Pudding or the investigator in the event that you flip town? Vote: Dar (Dragonfire)
Hinckley Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 I will eat my hat...I don't own a hat...Oh, yes I do! And it's a licorice hat!...I will eat my hat if there is a traitor in this game. I kind of hope there is now because I love licorice! Dar PMed me to tell me good game and that I should prepare to eat my hat... I love licorice. Yum... Make of that WIFOM what you will. If it's true, I must be a psychic.

MagPiesRUs Posted July 28, 2015 Author Posted July 28, 2015 Final Vote Count Dar (Dragonfire): 12 votes (Hinckley, Lady K, Chromeknight, Piratedave, RangeroftheForest, Trumpetking, Tariq j, Jackjonespaw, CallMePie, Dannylonglegs, Pandora, Adam) Tarr Egg-Chaser (Tariq j): 1 vote (Dragonfire) Yet again, the einherjar had reached a unanimous decision - that Dar (Dragonfire) must be executed... And not a moment too soon for Dar - his frostbite seemed to be getting worse... Dar kneeled down on the chopping block and awaited his execution. However, Kára was growing weary of bloodshed, and her wrongful killing of Lodmund the Dwarf still weighed on her mind. She turned to their new ally Ragnar. "Ragnar, I have enough blood on my hands," Kára began, "but regardless, Dar has been sentenced to death today by my crew. Do you wish to carry out the execu-" "Do I wish to what?" Ragnar asked, "sorry, I wasn't listening. I was busy chopping this person's head off..." "Nevermind." With the threat of fire giants gone for the moment, Kára, the einherjar, and any stragglers they found during the night's battle headed back to the boat. The path was clear, and the longship could at last resume it's journey up the river. Who knew what awaited them beyond? It is now night. You have 24 hours to send in your night actions.
