LordDan Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 (edited) A small prototype fighter designed and built by Dan, it now serves as his personal ship.It is fast and maneuverable and is equipped with 2 light laser cannons for "self defense". Despite the small size of the ship the cockpit is not overly cramped and fits Dan in with his armor and helmet, and even has a spot to stash his pistol. The ship also features basic landing gear that keeps the rear of the fighter in the correct position when on the ground. Notes: I am really happy with how this came out, and this is one of my favorite builds. C and C appreciated Edited July 21, 2015 by LordDan Quote
mrcp6d Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 Somebody was hitting the greeble juice pretty hard, huh? Looks fantastic LordDan! Embedding the dive scooter in there as the engine really compliments the business of the greebling well since it has all those vanes in it. Quote
robuko Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 Very nice parts use here with the astro droid legs, guns and dive scooter. That hose is a really nice treatment too. Great build! Quote
mediumsnowman Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 WOW! This is really cool! I love all the details packed into a smaller profile ship. Lots of interesting parts usage. The smaller green wings work really well too. Great job Quote
Garmadon Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 Great greebling and neat ship LordDan, which, in this case, happens to be pretty much saying the same thing twice! Quote
LittleJohn Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Great little ship, LD! I really like how compact it is Quote
Aliencat Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 That's a pretty sweet fighter, I dig the black greebling on such a small scale. Quote
David FNJ Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 The scale of this ship and how you incorporated the bubble cockpit is fantastic! Quote
Andrew JN Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Sweet ship! Love the greebly look to it. Really nice work making the minifig fit in it as well! Quote
SpacerSteve Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 It is amazing how it is all greebling. The scuba scooter makes a great engine. Quote
Big Sal Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 I've seen some great greebling before, but I'm not sure I've ever seen a ship made entirely out of greebles - great job! One minor suggestion - did you intend the lighting to be so blue? Quote
LordDan Posted August 1, 2015 Author Posted August 1, 2015 Thanks everyone! This is the first time I have really done greebling, and im glad to see I did it right :) I've seen some great greebling before, but I'm not sure I've ever seen a ship made entirely out of greebles - great job! One minor suggestion - did you intend the lighting to be so blue? Thanks! The lighting is not really supposed to be so blue, it happens to some of my pictures when I take them outside Quote
pombe Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 It's not just the greebling that makes this fantastic, but the sheer amount of complexity...you must have fit at least 50 bricks in such a small space! And all at such crazy angles and connections! Quote
soccerkid6 Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Brilliant use of those lime blades Lots of neat greebling too Quote
