mediumsnowman Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 Hello! This is my city museum inspired by 60008 Museum Break-In. (http://brickset.com/sets/60008-1/Museum-Break-in) Of course, what is a museum without a detailed interior? After retiring from the Ultra Agents, Solomon Blaze has retired to a quiet job at the City Museum. Here is the museum in my city layout. Oh no! What's happening here? Never fear, the Caped Crusader will make short work of him... Thanks for looking! Comments and criticism are welcome! Quote
lightningtiger Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 Very nice expansion of that set, looks even more realistic. Brick On 'mediumsnowman' ! Quote
gazumpty Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 Nice job...I really like that is a wee 'Pavillion' style building that could fit into most layouts/ schemes. Quote
Legocity2713 Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 Amazing. The size is what it should have originally been and it is tiled to top it all off. And the figures are phenomenal too, they really top it all off adding some more character to it. I especially love the Egyptian series 13 minifigure acting as a statue. Good idea. Also, great work my friend, keep it up. Quote
The Jersey Brick Guy Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 Looks great! I have been trying to do something very similar to what you have here. Quote
mediumsnowman Posted May 7, 2015 Author Posted May 7, 2015 Thank you for the kind comments! Let me know when you finish your version 'The Jersey Brick Guy!' Quote
dylanfarrow Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 Love it! 60008 is a cracking little set. You've given me a few ideas..... Quote
cgarison Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 Nice work! I love the 60008 museum and have been trying to think out a few ideas on how to build a MOC using those decals from this set. Quote
Feuer Zug Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 Nice museum. I can see why the crook was trying to break in. Mind you, he should have cased the joint better. An ex-Ultra Agents guy as a security guard, Iron Man lurking in the vicinity, and the Caped Crusader in town? He might as well have stopped by central booking and made it easier. Quote
mediumsnowman Posted May 9, 2015 Author Posted May 9, 2015 Thanks for the comments! Glad to know I could give you some ideas. Can't wait to see your versions! Quote
Wodanis Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 The photo links do not currently work. Could you post them from Flickr (if you use it)? Quote
mediumsnowman Posted May 9, 2015 Author Posted May 9, 2015 Hmmm... I deeplinked them from Brickshelf, so they should work. I don't currently have a Flickr, but I'll look into it. I'll PM you a link when I've put them up Quote
