darsedz Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 very impressive, especially the "XWing" and "Landing" pneumatic functions... As StarWars fan - Quote
MacKaiwer Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 Nice, nice, really nice  Cool pneumatic functions and such a great looking design! I like it a lot Quote
rollermonkey Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 (edited) The s-foils and landing gear are awesome, but I'm sure the rest took just as much thought and effort. Fantastic! (although I, too would like to see a little bit more panelling used to make the appearance nicer) Edited May 3, 2015 by rollermonkey Quote
Boxerlego Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 That was a great and long awaited video. Nice work on solving the air problems. Everything seems like there getting good air pressure by the way it moves. The pneumatic functions really makes this X-wing more amazing then it would be without pneumatics. Quote
legolijntje Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 Nice model But the stand looks instable as hell Quote
Jeroen Ottens Posted May 6, 2015 Author Posted May 6, 2015 (edited) Jeroen, Love this Star Wars model completely made out of Technic. I only build with Technic so Starwars is always out of my reach but you show it can be done. Will you be making instructions for it? Thx, I'm glag you like it. It is not the first SW technic model, search for drakmin and you'll find his snowspeeder and X-wing ( which was a direct inspiration for this one). I don't think there is enough appetite for instructions for this model. It will be a hell of a lot of work for a model that is quite pricey to build due to the amount of pneumatics in here. It has also ~2500 parts is my estimate (but all (or at least almost all) of them are commonly available) So unless there is overwhelming response of people that want to pay for instructions of this model I'm afraid it won't happen. I'd rather spend my time on my next MOC ;) Edited May 6, 2015 by Jeroen Ottens Quote

OzShan Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 Glad you got the issues sorted out. The landing gear and its sequence is my favourite. Quote

So I will have to invent one myself if I want to build SW. Might do that some day. As not a lot of SW models have been made in Technic, there is still a lot on undeveloped territory, that's the good part :sweet: Quote

Jim Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 Sorry for bumping this topic, but it got my attention because it was linked in the TC10 topic. I think I have never seen this creation. I don't see a response from me in this topic either. Must have been on Holiday or something. Quote
