Port theft getaway

Here's my newest Moc. The pirates have been running through the port all day with stolen gold and gunpowder, the soldiers are in hot pursuit. They see their ship up ahead, it's right next to a cannon fort. It's gonna be close.

The pirates set a fire in a nearby food stall as a diversion.

A pirate from on board shoots the swivel gun while another takes out the soldier at the cannon.

Are you sure that the gunpowder still works after being in the water??

Nice work, but this really belongs in the Pirate MOCs section of the forums.

Overall the building techniques are pretty simple but it's a good action scene with plenty play features. Nice job with the ship - it's small but matches the scene well. The cobblestone is good and the red roof gives it a splash of color. I think the powder is fine as long as the barrel doesn't leak!
