asj410 Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 (edited) I tried searching for a similar thread, but didn't have any luck...so I was hoping I could just get some clarification on an issue that I'm having in LDD. In the included pic, I was trying to insert the red 2M CROSS AXLE W. GROOVE (32062) into the gray RIM NO.2 011 176X6 (93594), and for some reason, LDD won't let me do this. Is this some sort of bug in LDD or do these parts really not fit together? I haven't come across a problem like this before, so I'm just trying to figure out what's going on. Thanks in advance for any clarification! Edited April 15, 2015 by Superkalle Updated topic title to clarify Quote
Zerobricks Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 Seems like it shoud fit... With simple scafolding you can make axle go all the way throught the wheel, but its not connected. Quote
Leewan Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 I've never tried it with actual bricks, but with LDD you can use the wheel 42610 (which has the same diameter as the rim 93594) to position your axle properly : Quote
Gnac Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 Wow, LDD's really misrepresented that ('scuse the poor lighting). It's slightly too small for technic axles. The connection accommodates the standard small snaps for CITY-type wheels; I guess it has the cross shape in order to provide notches for the flanged pegs on pull-back motors. Quote
asj410 Posted April 14, 2015 Author Posted April 14, 2015 Thanks for the help, guys! So, it doesn't actually fit. Ha, I guess that figures. Gnac, when you say that the "connection accommodates the standard small snaps for CITY-type wheels," can you provide an example part number that would work with these wheels? I tried a bunch of different cross axles and connectors in LDD, and I couldn't find anything that would fit this particular rim. Thanks again! Quote

Thanks again! 2926, 4600, and 10313 are good examples of the connection point in question. Quote
