Hey guys finally signed after creeping around for quite a while this is my first project. After a bad crash on my motorcycle i was stuck home soon i rediscovered lego although my son didnt have a lot of parts i managed to get i started. Now im addicted just placed an order on bricklink for second part of the chassis.It will have no deadline so it might be a slow project for some people.

About this wip;

Im trying to replicate as much as possible chassis wise( driftworks made a build thread on this car).

Obvious large scale either powered by an lpe wich my preference lays or a rc engine for some more serious power. I discarded my sequental gearbox and the idea of brakes for more performance. Some pieces are still a mockup like the wheel hubs.ill let the pictures do the rest of the talking. Questions advice and ideas are welcome till next update!! Welcome to Eurobricks,your off to a good start,the chassis looks nice and strong. :sweet:

In my opinion I would consider using a wider wheel,as the ones you have on it are a little thin.

Wheels will be replaced by the f1 tires 36 mm ones this is to meseure the scale the tires should be 81.6 mm

And thank you for the positive feedback! My biggest problem is the offset created by the lego wheels the should work might some work in the wheel it self

Welcome to Eurobricks.

Glad to hear you've rediscovered Lego and hope it helps in your recovery.

I hope you complete this. Get yourself and your son some new sets too.

Hope you get well soon.. really looks promising so far. You got some great steering angle going on. And i just love the little hachi roku. I dont know if the version your doing still has a solid rear axle but i hope so.

Thank you by no chance ill stop building this project hopefully my parts will arrive soon already have my eye on a few sets

My advice is: buy a tested and working 8366 for all the RC parts and fit the hard plastic wheels (that should come with it) on the back for drifting.

Im great now thanks :) awesome you noticed the steering geometry! Those cars are little baggers. It will have a solid axle.Waiting for some more exlusive parts to make the axle compact.
