cmwcampbell Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Hey all, Last October a report from WGRZ-NBC in Buffalo, NY visited my home in Chicago, IL to film this story on my 100k-piece restoration of the historic NYC terminal. Humbly presented to this forum for your enjoyment. http://www.wgrz.com/longform/life/2015/02/11/lego-central-terminal/23220533/ More photos & videos here: http://tinyurl.com/kvmx2p8 Thanks, Chris Quote
pirzyk Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 A very impressive station. Do you have an estimate of how many bricks? And how long have you been working on it? Well done. Quote
Srbandrews Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Do you have an estimate of how many bricks? I had to do a lot of digging, but I finally found this kernel in the OP: this story on my 100k-piece restoration of the historic NYC terminal. Chris, this whole layout is totally amazing and easily one of the best lego builds I've ever seen. I just can't help it that my first thought on seeing it is how does he keep the dust off that?' M_slug357 Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Not sure about putting the tot(s)? on the table, but otherwise that layout is, in fact, noteworthy indeed! Brick on sir! Quote
dr_spock Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Good stuff. She is cute running under the layout. Quote
