Perterz Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 (edited) Rearaxle update below ;) Hello all, I got interested in your fantastic Technic MOCs and wanted to learn how to do it. So I've started (in LDD) to build my first Technic MOC, well it's a motorised chassis with Model Team body. I'm trying to make it remote controlled driving and steering, I've opted for RWD as AWD might be a little to much for a starter. I'd like to know if I'm on the right track or completely failing. I've used 2 M motors, red for steering, green for driving. The batterybox probably will be placed on top of the rearaxle in the trunk aswell as the receiver. Sorry, no pictures but LDD file is attached. Any input is very welcome and appreciated. Kevin SUV3.lxf Edited February 9, 2015 by Perterz Quote
Zerobricks Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Front looks good, only thing is the gear ratio to the front steering is too low, you will have a hard time controlling it. I'm not to sure about the rear suspension though. Maybe a live axle would be better? Quote
Black-Build Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 You'll defenitely need to redesign your rear suspension, other than that, it looks good. Quote
Perterz Posted February 9, 2015 Author Posted February 9, 2015 (edited) Not much spare time on my hands but I've managed to redesign the rearaxle. Any input is very appreciated. Kevin SUV5.lxf Edited February 9, 2015 by Perterz Quote
