Controls by [DustyBricks], on Flickr Hello all, this Galileo 7 shuttlecraft from the original Star Trek series is my latest creation. Once again, I tried to build it like a Lego set with as many play features as possible. This build depicts the shuttlecraft Galileo 7 landing on Taurus II only to meet a large, stone/spear throwing anthropoid on the planet surface, as in the original episode "Galileo Seven". So, yeah, I'm in a very Star trek mood... Anyway, Enjoy! Video with all of the play features: https://flic.kr/p/qmVBVY Quote

giomel Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 I just watched the video! The sliding door is pure star trek, great! Quote
tedbeard Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 Just watched the video, thanks for that. It really shows off the details. What an awesome candidate for Cuusoo Ideas! It is a great size with lots of playability and geek nostalgia. Too bad Star Trek is on the banned list. Quote
deraven Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Nice job at that scale! I really like the Taurean lurking in the background. Quote
konas2002 Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 This is so great! I'm still hoping that Lego picks up the Star Trek license in the future after Kreo Is done with it. Kind of like they got Pirates of the Caribbean after Mega Blocks. Quote
DustyBricks Posted January 18, 2015 Author Posted January 18, 2015 Thanks for all the feedback guys! I'm gald you enjoyed it. Here's hoping Lego gains the star trek license soon! Quote

Laura Beinbrech Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 Oh, I remember watching that very episode of The Original Series on PBS when I was a kid: One of my favorite original Star Trek episodes. You managed to perfectly capture the look of the Shuttlecraft, both inside & out. :) Quote
plastic_ati Posted January 27, 2015 Posted January 27, 2015 Great shuttlecraft DustyBricks! You made me want more Star Trek goodies! Quote
