Toltomeja Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 Maybe I'm a tiny bit late to post it here, but still... As it is every year, December is the most busy building time for me (you'd never guess why!). Well, I believe many castle builders have the same. But here it is. First of three (I hope) entries for this year's CCC. Next one is already finished, but awaits its photos. It was really hard to force myself to fit on 48x48 baseplate, but thanks to the limit the scene is packed with action. There is also a second siege tower I had managed to build, but (un)luckily it was too much to fit in one model. Nevertheless, you can still see it in separate pictures in the gallery (link below). Full photos gallery: Do you think the sneaky little red army would defeat the defenders? Quote
Zerobricks Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 Nicely done. Hmm looks like a tough one, those catapults are quite big. Quote
Fangorn Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 This MOC has so much character! I really like that the siege tower looks like it was quickly hammered together from whatever boards the attackers could find lying around. The walls of the castle look like they have seen better days too. I love the growth on the base of the walls, and of course the exploding wall looks incredible-- the illusion of movement is really impressive. Well done! Quote
Captain Braunsfeld Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 The action is extremely well captured - great work. Wall technique and siege equipment are top. Quote
Balbo Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 Very nice I love all the details in your MOC! Quote
LEGOmania-Workshop Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 WOw! I love this set. The walls have such fantastic detail! Quote
