WARHEAD Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 (edited) So I thought I'd post a thread for these. I'm a bit lazy so I'll just post them all together. Don't really have much of a backstory for any of them, except for them being evil entities. In order from left to right: Chernobog is just a stereotypical demon overlord, likes schemes and gloating in front of heroes. Koura Homonga is an undead king, commander of a skeleton army, he's very greedy and vain too. Nyrla'glob is the physical incarnation of an ancient slumbering evil from a different plane of existence. Garagorg is simply an angry, hungry, violent beast, not really guided by anything except for his appetite for flesh and destruction. Maloko is an evil cursed spirit, taking the form of a giant eye with the ability to shoot lazers and petrify foes. Voskor is a bone collector from the underworld, perhaps a deity dreamt up by the Manas. Thanks for taking a look! Edited December 9, 2014 by WARHEAD Quote
Leewan Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 I don't know how you can come up with such brilliant ideas, Warhead, I guess you're some sort of a wizard. The heads, especially, are incredible. You don't just build MOCs, you build characters, with a personality, and this is something I rarely see. And this is why I wish you to win the Battle for the Gold Mask. Quote
Slegengr Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 Very nice beasties, WARHEAD! Each one is very organic-looking and well-detailed with excellent parts usage! If I did not know they were LEGO, I would think they were not! I particularly like Maloko for the concept, the execution of the idea, and the very interesting parts usage. Quote
arc Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 These are some fine MOCs right here. I especially like how you make custom heads instead of using masks, which takes a certain amount of creativity to pull of. My favorite is garagorg, because the head and claw design are about perfect in my eyes. But every last one is really great. Good luck in the competition! Quote
zero1312 Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 Those are all awesome, ALLSOME!!!!! But Maloko and Voskor are my favourites. Voskor looks a mech made out of bones.... Quote
Zerobricks Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 These are really great! Interesting part useage, so many great ideas. Quote
Captain Braunsfeld Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 Maloko the Curse Bearer has turned out fantastically well! Quote
WARHEAD Posted December 11, 2014 Author Posted December 11, 2014 (edited) Thanks a lot everyone, it really means a lot to me to get such positive feedback! The heads, especially, are incredible. You don't just build MOCs, you build characters, with a personality, and this is something I rarely see. And this is why I wish you to win the Battle for the Gold Mask. Thanks! It's kind of been my mission during the last year to show how much a moc benefits from not having a generic old kanohi face and actually shows some expression. As for winning the contest, it really would be nice, heh, but there's a loooot of other great builds and I don't really feel like I stand that much of a chance, honestly. Good luck to you too! TheRedGuy Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 All of them are excellent, and I love how almost none of your MOCs use a plain head piece with some mask. Good luck in the contest! (Even though you're probably gonna win anyway :P) Quote
bjj8383 Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 Wow, very unique head. Love the gear/teeth... Quote
WARHEAD Posted December 14, 2014 Author Posted December 14, 2014 Thanks guys! The teeth are taken off straight off of one of RoaMcToa's mocs :v Quote
MrRoy Posted March 1, 2016 Posted March 1, 2016 (edited) Very cool and epic presentation on Maloko the Curse Bearer! Is it safe to say this spirit takes the classic form of a Beholder? How does he look from the reverse angle? Edited March 2, 2016 by MrRoy Quote
