Charbel Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 I made a dolly for the iPhone 6, for the LEGO filmmakers ! Quote
Zerobricks Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 Thats pretty cool! Now motorize it an add suspension for outdoor use on the asphalt Quote
HorcikDesigns Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 Does not the iPhone bend, when you move it and the air goes against it? :D Nice MOC, and what's more - useful ;) Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 Great and usefull MOC! Amazing video and cool music! Quote
rm8 Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 (edited) Cool! Try using rubber connectors inside phones's bed. They will work as absorbers. Another improvement - you can use that long stick as turntable "rotator". Edited December 6, 2014 by rm8 Quote
TinkerBrick Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 Great Job on low cost filming equipment. Those dollies are not cheap. I'll try to look into your (if I can find some time). I'm sure it can be improved by added features like adjustable lockable steering. I don't know if a suspension would be helpful. An iPhone 6 has image stabilisation built in. Quote
Andy D Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 (edited) Great job! Simplicity but lots of function. Using LEGO to make a small (table top) dolly to keep costs down. I would love to see more detail as I would like to try this as well. Andy D Edited December 7, 2014 by Andy D Quote
dikkie klijn Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 Great piece! :D One tip though, if you attach a rubber band to the pulling stick and pull on that ur videos will be even smoother! Quote
kibosh Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 Very cool! Love the idea. I got the iPhone 6 Plus, and could really use something like this. Love the interchangeable heads! Quote
Charbel Posted December 13, 2014 Author Posted December 13, 2014 Thanks guys ! Actually, I don't really want to make a complex model with suspensions and PFs. I want just to make a simple model that everybody could do ! Quote
SzyMek Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 And you'll be doing a model for the iPad 2? Quote
