Power Function Lights not working with Rechargable Battery Pack

Hello,

I have a few rechargeable battery packs and for some reason the power function lights do not work when plugged directly into battery pack.

I have tried 2 different battery packs and also about 3-4 lights and non work.

Does anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong?

Im really confused and getting frustrated.

have you turned the little switch on the battery? The one with an axle hole

No I have not. Am I meant 2?

if you conect the lights directly to the battery then yes you are, else the battery is sitting in idle and doesn't put current on the lights (or if you connect a motor, it too will not run unless you turn the little switch). It's different with the revievers, with those it's the reciever that does this job.

What battery you have AAA, or Lipo? If you have Lipo YOU HAVE TO TURN IT ON AND ROTATE THE ORANGE DIAL

Just turn the orange dial, if that doesn't work run it through the receiver and if that doesn't work I'm afraid you need new lights.

The lights are brand new from Lego.

I will try tonight and post results.
