dragma Posted November 30, 2014 Posted November 30, 2014 Good day, My name is Dragma and I am A AFOL. I have not done much Mocing outside of an annual Halloween build different each year. and Collecting the winter village sets for my own Christmas Village (Got the Santa Workshop. But mostly what I have been working on is my own Inventory software, that not only catalogs the part breakdowns of each set (using XML files from BrickLink), but also Tells you where each part is located in your inventory, and breaks them down further by Book, Page, and Instruction Step, Which you can then gather pieces for from your collection. Currently it is just done using c# and WPF, but ultimately I would like to port it to Android as an App. Mainly I am here to determine the possible desirability of such a program. and to get feedback and Ideas for features it could have. So that out of the way, I am happy to be here. Quote
Zerobricks Posted November 30, 2014 Posted November 30, 2014 Greetings! I suggest you to present your software in more detail in the Lego digital subforum Quote
dr_spock Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Welcome to Eurobricks. I think that should be in the General area since it involves inventory, sorting, parts, not so much as in software for designing or building LEGO virtually. Sounds like something that might be useful to a BrickLink seller with a large inventory too. Quote
