Cmay91472 Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 (edited) Here is my custom Batmobile using a black, grey and transparent light blue color scheme. Built it similar to the current LEGO Batmobile seen in the Batman Be-Leaguered special. Had to design a different frame to accommodate the balloon tires. Also added storage for Batarangs and a larger rear missile area. https://m.flickr.com/#/photos/128866203@N08/15876923756/ https://m.flickr.com/#/photos/128866203@N08/15716678659/ https://m.flickr.com/#/photos/128866203@N08/15902089852/ https://m.flickr.com/#/photos/128866203@N08/15715442660/ Thanks for looking. Zerobricks Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 I like it! The transparent blue really adds a high tech touch to the vehicle. Quote
Only Sinner Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 It looks really nice with that trans blue. Quote
TheLegoDr Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 That actually looks neat. I was unsure by the title, but it turned out well. It gives off a Tron vibe for sure, but also a Blacktron I vibe. I may have to borrow some ideas here. Quote
Steph 104th Posted November 30, 2014 Posted November 30, 2014 Great idea and it turned out fantastic! The Electo-Suit Batman would pair very nicely with this. Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Nicely done! Amazing shape an great usage of trans-lightblue color! Quote
samurai-turtle Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Do you know this person in real life? A link to what I am talking about: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=102966 Quote
Cmay91472 Posted December 10, 2014 Author Posted December 10, 2014 (edited) Great idea and it turned out fantastic! The Electo-Suit Batman would pair very nicely with this. Thanks. I picked up an Electro-Suit batman after seeing your suggestion. Definitely looks much cooler paired with the trans light blue color scheme than the regular batman that I had. UPDATE Went back and made some minor modifications that I think help the overall look such as adding curved slope pieces to the sides of the front bumper, as well as adding curved slope pieces to the rear side wings. Had to trade 2 pieces for every 1 piece with my 4 year old son to get the additional black slope pieces. What can i say, he's already a shrewd negotiator. https://m.flickr.com/#/photos/128866203@N08/15389255203/ Edited December 13, 2014 by Cmay91472 Quote
