Hi everyone!

My childhood days in the 70s and 80s were often filled with LEGO playing, building all kinds of vehicles, cities and towers together with my two brothers. Highlights of this era were definitely when I got the yellow knights' castle, and later the 8860 car chassis. From this time on, Technic was and stayed my favorite theme.

Five years ago, a christmas gift from my wife revived me from my dark ages. It was the 8264 hauler, and here I was into Technic again. So deeply that my wife might sometimes regret this gift... In those five years, about 50 more sets have built up my collection, mostly technic and some creator, but others too. Plus the rare Technic parts in odd colors I like to buy on Bricklink.

I mostly buy my sets for parts, although I always build at least the A-model. But I don't apply stickers and take everything apart sooner or later. For MOCing is my real passion. I like to combine this with my second big hobby which is everything around old Citroëns. I have already presented some results of this combination on other sites:

Other projects are already in my mind and have passed various building stages, but nothing presentable yet. My third hobby which is music (playing piano and singing in a choir) is also taking a lot of time, so my building processes are rather slow and often interrupted for several weeks.

I hope I will have a good time in this forum, make good contacts and get a lot of inspiration, as well as hopefully give inspiration to others.

Best regards

Simon from Switzerland

Thank you for the welcomes.

Showing some of the MOCs in the Technic forum might be a good introduction to the community.

I still have one or two that were not already presented elsewhere. And maybe I can add the Citroën Kégresse I showed at techlug.fr, so also non-french speakers can read about it.
