Sarg_Kulo Posted March 26, 2005 Posted March 26, 2005 Why did you put your pigstyle on the bottom floor? to have your pigs next to the kitchen :-D Aren't those treasure chests? Quote
xwingyoda Posted March 26, 2005 Posted March 26, 2005 Where? The chests are just south of the kitchen (in the treasure room) and the little piggies are west from that treasure room. Com on ImperialJohn, I cannot wait for more pictures of this fantastic MOC ;) Quote
ApophisV Posted March 26, 2005 Posted March 26, 2005 Wow, longest MOC-thread ever I think.... ;) For that prison / fortress: *wub* I really just love it!!!! :) I like this building style using white bricks and some yellow, but you could improve the look of the walls a bit by using also some plates like in this part of my port. Otherwise It'll be much work to rework all the walls... :/ Great work! :) For the pigs: I directly was able to see what the first version was meant to be... ;) IMO you're really good at building animals! :D And the piglet... *wub* soooooo cute!!! :) (Though I wonder why it has died in the last picture?!? *wacko* ) Quote
Sarg_Kulo Posted March 26, 2005 Posted March 26, 2005 Where are the pigs, I can't see them anywhere :( Quote
xwingyoda Posted March 26, 2005 Posted March 26, 2005 Just in front of the treaser room (west of it) ;) Quote
ImperialJohn Posted March 26, 2005 Author Posted March 26, 2005 You mean like these Apophis, right? Just wait there will be lots of them later ;) Thanks all. I've started on the upper section 8-| So we shall see what will happen >:) Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted March 26, 2005 Governor Posted March 26, 2005 Wow, longest MOC-thread ever I think.... ;)Great work! :) Of course its the longest (or going to be) MOC thread ever! Its Pirate Lego related, so what would you expect? That and the fact that Imperial John is doing an excellent job. When one does an excellent job, everyone should want to get in on it! Quote
Sarg_Kulo Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 Just in front of the treaser room (west of it) ;) In the same room as the cannon balls? Quote
ApophisV Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 You mean like these Apophis, right? No no no!!! I'm talking about standard plates and bricks! But those wall pieces (especially those white with red brick printings) are also useful, though they aren't looking as good as a brick / plate build wall... Quote
xwingyoda Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 Just in front of the treaser room (west of it) ;) In the same room as the cannon balls? No, on the room accross the hallway to the left of the treasure room. Quote
Sarg_Kulo Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 I thought you said they were next to the kitchen? *wacko* Quote
Sarg_Kulo Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 OKay, I feel like a complete dope now for not seeing them :$ Quote
xwingyoda Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 See too much sugar, brain not functionning :-D ;) Quote
ImperialJohn Posted March 27, 2005 Author Posted March 27, 2005 No no no!!! I'm talking about standard plates and bricks! Aha. You mean plates and bricks on the outside wall :oD Sure. I mean to put some green on it as well. Plants and stuff. Did we find the pigs :D Quote
xwingyoda Posted March 27, 2005 Posted March 27, 2005 It necessitated a lot of explenations for those little piggies :-D Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted March 28, 2005 Governor Posted March 28, 2005 Are there any updates yet? Or are they all going to go straight to Brick Shelf? Quote
ImperialJohn Posted March 29, 2005 Author Posted March 29, 2005 All good things comes to those who can wait ;) I've just used 6-8 hours working on a fireplace :oo It must have been rebuild 20 times by now. Sometimes I get stuck in details. *wacko* Also done a lot of thinking on how to put "real" light into the fortress :D Quote

Sometimes I get stuck in details. *wacko* Also done a lot of thinking on how to put "real" light into the fortress :D True ImperialJohn, Do you have any pics of the fireplace? Also concerning "real" lights, you could do a "fake" floor wich would give you enough room for electrical wiring. I know its a pain if you want to do that in the basement because you already did everything. If the top floor is not too advanced you could easily double the floor to have the cables and add several small light bulbs whre you want (especially in your fireplace ;) ). Quote
ImperialJohn Posted March 29, 2005 Author Posted March 29, 2005 Hm. What I need is a "fake" wall :oo And I found a way :oD So stay tuned. But it might take a day or two :$ Quote
Sarg_Kulo Posted March 29, 2005 Posted March 29, 2005 See too much sugar, brain not functionning :-D ;) ROFLMAO *eats sugar* I can't see the pigs :-D Quote
xwingyoda Posted March 29, 2005 Posted March 29, 2005 So stay tuned. But it might take a day or two :$ Like you say ImperialJohn, "All good things comes to those who can wait". So take your time and astound us with future pics ;) Quote
ImperialJohn Posted March 29, 2005 Author Posted March 29, 2005 Well. I'm not happy yet 8-| But here is a little peak into what I'm trying to do. Quote
xwingyoda Posted March 29, 2005 Posted March 29, 2005 It looks really nice so far, so I cannot wait for your definitive vision ;) Quote
