Alasdair Ryan Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 Some Lugs are better than others but generally builders will contact other builders and ask for a meet up,there is no special group. Quote

fresko Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 @TheNextLegoDesigner, take a look at the BeLUG online forum, you'll find my profile there. In BeLUG, there aren't many Technic fans indeed, but still a few. I'm sure you'll get in touch with great minds ;) I don't know much about OLBC, but BeLUG is just all over Belgium. Not only fixated in Overpelt.... See it as in football: internationally we like to support the Begian Red Devils, not only Anderlecht. Fresko. Quote
Zerobricks Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Not really a vlub per se but I really enjoyed the 2011 lego trial truck meeting in Hungary. I think there should be more of them. Cant find the video of it anymore though... Quote

fresko Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 The next BrickMania event (an event organised by BeLUG) is in April (18 & 19, if I remember correctly), in Wetteren (near Ghent). I strongly recommend you to come and have a gander ;) The next 'meeting', but it's rather a small exhibition, is BrickTricks the 7 & 8 February in Tielt (West-Flanders). It is organised by BeLTC, but it is supported by BeLUG. Sometimes members of BeLUG organise small meetings with specific purposes, this are mostly Technic-meetings. An example of such meeting is the annually Outdoor TruckTrail event and the Boat Race. A few members would like to see an ACC race, this haven't been yet, but it would be a nice addition to our events. Fresko Quote

fresko Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 An ACC or 'Allround Car Competition' is a technic-related meeting. The aim is to build a vehicle, which convience to a specific theme. An example of a theme is 'All but four', a theme were you have to build a verhicle with less or more than 4 wheels. With that vehicle you have to accomplish assigments, like parking in a tight spot or race against opponents. You can see an example here, done by the LowLUG: or Quote
