Zerobricks Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 Now thats what I call imagination! Thats so freaking awesome, oonly maybe you could add a bit more wood? Quote
Godtshep Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 Fantastic model! Very creative and well-built. Quote
Yzalirk Posted November 12, 2014 Posted November 12, 2014 That looks awesome! In what program did you make this? Quote
Captain Braunsfeld Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 Great design. I am always happy when something steampunkish is being posted - and this is a fine example. Did you think about adding a mast? (Of course, there is no practical need for a mast, it is just that within steampunk those things are commonly used) Can we get some details as to how the machine guns have been constructed? This is a great MOC. My only trouble is that it will be difficult to build in real life because of the choice of colors - dark blue being "rare". Brick on! Quote
Sunder Posted November 21, 2014 Author Posted November 21, 2014 As for wood, I don't like when someone call model steampunkish just because of combination of wood/gold. Many people think that steampunk is just gold+wood. I want to show that it isn't so. It was made with LDD, and rendered with Pov-Ray. No, I don't think that the mast is suitable here. Thanks for comments. Quote
Only Sinner Posted November 30, 2014 Posted November 30, 2014 This model is very well done. I really like the mechanical detail in the legs, and the colorscheme is so unique for this style, I cannot praise this enough! Quote
bjj8383 Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 Another example of something that would go good with a Spelljammer theme. Quote
