JGW3000 Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Inspired by the white crabs in 21100 Shinkai Submarine, I designed two deep sea-vent crabs. These animals are blind, having only vestigial eyes, hence no eyestalks, but do have the large front claws typical of crabs. They prowl around sea-floor active black smokers, which vent super heated water, eating dead stuff and maybe tube worms. Would have liked to have a more organic shape, but needed to use 1x2 modified plates on the body in order to attach the claws and legs. The real thing Quote
