Hello,

My name is Wolfgang, and I am working for a small company producing big structures. My idea was to create a Lego model to display during exhibitions.

The structures we are building are quite big:

6 m diameter

12 m high

Idea was to display our "CAN" hanging on the Lego Mobile Crane MK II.

I downloaded the Lego Digital Designer, and also found some clues here how to make a round structure, but I am struggling to get the top lid properly built.

Then I spent some time here on this site and saw the amazing creations you all show here. My deepest respect, I can't compete with you.

So if anyone has a good suggestion for me on how to built this CAN, please let me hear it!

Thanks, Wolfgang

Welcome to Eurobricks, Wolfgang!

What LEGO scale are you using for the CAN dimensions? (I cannot utilize the LXF file now).

Could you post pictures or screen shots of your build so far?

I hope you find what you are looking for at Eurobricks, and I am looking forward to seeing what you build.

Hi!

Thanks so far, here a screenshot of what Zblj posted.

Regarding the scale: diameter should be around 20 bricks, so that it somewhat fits to the scale of the mobile crane.

But the mobile crane is not a must, could be substantially bigger too (then we leave the crane away).

There is always the possibility to extend the idea and show the "CAN" on board of one of the installation vessels:

But now we are loosing focus a bit :)
