Wow! Love the high detail with this carriage! I like how you were able to even re-create the undercarriage detail! Also the seats are an added plus!

Can't wait to see more!

Very nice Barduck! You did a great job. 7 is also a nice number for the width of the cars!

Yet another fantastic build, I can't wait to see shots of all of the cars together.

Another nice addition.

I can't wait to see it all together. I have enjoyed seeing progress on each of your cars. I can imagine how long this will be when its all together.

Taken at Brick Mania Antwerp, today, just after the doors closed

I like your version and I hope to post my UP work in a few months!

setting her up like this has made me start designing the other 5 coaches missing for this coachyard, so more to follow in a few weeks/months

beautiful work here! I love the concept and design of a train as a whole!

with regards to engine power. I imagine that when using so many small bricks the cars get quite heavy. how much engine power do you need to pull these 6 cars as depicted? do you have an additional motor in one of the cars? or is it a model mainly for display?

the Big Boy has 4XL motors in her boiler (coming from 4 medium ones), haven't been able to test her to see how many coaches she could pull as we did not have a train layout this year at the event. The coaches are indeed quite heavy but I think she should still be able to pull all 6 if we use the smooth curves instead of LEGO standard curves. I will be adding extra PF train motors to one or maybe 2 of the next coaches I do to give it more power and I can always put my SD-60 at the end to help pull. Once my DDA0X is done she can also be used to pull the whole lot instead of the Big Boy.

4XLmotors? What kind of a gearing did you use? Thats a lot of torque for lego gears.
