Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted June 27, 2007 Eurobricks Emperor Posted June 27, 2007 (edited) There is a FREE program that seems to be perfect for making torso designs. Credit for discovering this program goes to Amanda (Lamada2). The PAINT.NET homepage. There is even an entire forum with lots of information and tutorials. Is anyone interested in making a tutorial for designing torso's with this program? Some quotes: It works a lot like photoshop, but is even easier to use. Paint.NET is free image editing and photo manipulation software for computers that run Windows. It features an intuitive and innovative user interface with support for layers, unlimited undo, special effects, and a wide variety of useful and powerful tools. An active and growing online community provides friendly help, tutorials, and plugins. Edited June 27, 2007 by bonaparte Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted July 4, 2007 Governor Posted July 4, 2007 So what makes it easier to use? Does it have the same number of abilities and same level of customisability as Photoshop or is it easier because these are reduced? Quote

I really should experiment a bit with the program. Some of the customizer on CC are also starting to use this program and seem to be happy with it. Quote
Fordo Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 I too use this program for my custom needs its a great, easy to use, system. Im not sure of the differences since I dont have MS paint. Quote

Norrington Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 I use it, and it's very nice *y* The thing is, if you combine multiple pictures, or insert pictures to a new layer, it turns from a .jpg to a .pdn, which I've tried to convert/upload, but they don't. Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted August 21, 2007 Governor Posted August 21, 2007 A .pdn file? I've never heard of that format. Can you export as a .jpg or .gif? Quote
