HorcikDesigns Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Hi; First answer - video is going to be done, but I have not enough time. Done for sixth race of Czech Lego Technic Truck Trial Championship. Features: -2×RC buggy motor 5292 for propulsion of the whole mechanism -1×PF M motor for steering -full independependent Tatra half-axle suspension (leaf/axle springs in the back - it works pretty well, and normal shocks in the front) -central diff equipped with pneumatic lock. -external roll-cage (safety of Tec-fig first!) -Custom stickers (largest set so far!) :D -cable RC for saving the weight (around 1600 g) (the reason are the tires, because they have slipped, they had to be equipped with "support" with smaller tires. The Crawler no.(x+1) is also waiting for more photos and for video too. Now, here is full album: https://www.flickr.c...57648127231832/ And here some shots of it.: And with crawler: Quote
Black-Build Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 It doesn't look like the tatra most people build, but that doesn't mean its not cool! I would like to see it in action. Quote

The original truck is not 815 or 813, but 148: And, in action you'll see it - sonner than christmas come (I hope):D Quote

Black-Build Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 I know that the truck exists in real life, but most people who build a lego tatra don't build models with a bonnet like these :D Quote

Zerobricks Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 (edited) Looks great! But why didnt you make it fully remote controlled? Edited December 6, 2014 by Zblj Quote
Boulderer Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 I'm guessing it's related to weight and battery life, for some kind of meet/rally. Quote

I'm guessing it's related to weight and battery life, for some kind of meet/rally. Boulderer is right, it is mainly beacuse of weight (BB inside the truck and extreme ofroading that truck trial means, does not go together well) And also because I would need two BBs and V2 recievers to power two 5292s and one PF-M for steering ;) Thank you ;) Quote
