Problems with the canopy of a mech

Can someone help me out with this

So I built this mech in LDD: and I was wondering, is it possicle to built an entirely closed canopy for this mech with this design? If you have any suggestions, leave a comment

In the second image it appears that the piece holding the grate is floating on the windshield piece, so no I don't think so. Your trying to build this in reality right? There is a couple other ways you could still achieve the look tho, it is possible.

Just try different parts. There sure is a way, maybe flex axles and droid arms?

could you tell me how i could i achieve the same kind of look like say the AMP-suits from Avatar? or the the mechs from heavy gear
