Hi guys, I have been working on a few Light Cycles from the movie Tron back in the 80s. So far I have only been building them up on Lego Digital Designer and this is my final draft :)

The designs are researched off various different designs and this is my interpretation so am hoping for some comments before I get piece off Bricklink and start building it. I am going to build the White one and see if I have enough funds to build all of them lol.

Here are some screenshots off LDD.

If I had not seen these, I would not have believed that the Lightcycles were able to be built with LEGO!

These are outstanding! Looking forward to the lxf.

I dont think it is possible to put a minifig in there lol I am working on a tron legacy one now and it is quite tight to put a fig in there. for these I would think it is best to leave them as it is.

Anyway, here's the lxf

Just finished working on the Legacy model.

Here is a picture of it :)

I cannot get the figure to "sit" into the bike on LDD so I just estimated the space in there so technically, the figure should be able to go in as the leg assembly is already in the bike. The design is roughly based on what I seen on google where I did a bit of research.

awesome design, love the originals.

i tried to get the LDD file, but google drive say we need to ask for permission to get the file. want to go that route or can you make it publicly available?

great work!

Hi there, sorry, about the permission thingy. I hardly ever share anything from google drive. It should work now :)

That's actually pretty awesome. I built some Legacy Cycles last year in white and yellow, I managed to fit the figures in perfectly

Cool, are there any pics? would like to see how you did it. I suppose they would be bigger than what I created here then.

Sadly, I have no pics. But I may be able to muster up a parts list and some instructions if you would like me to
