Dragonstone Art and Culture by Brandon Stark, on Flickr With his settlement continuing to grow, Brandon has begun to build numerous art and culture properties throughout the city, showing that Dragonstone is not only for economic purposes, but is now a settlement for living and enjoyment. Thus, one of the first culture properties is the statue of Brandon Stark, patriarch of the House of Lantell, and who was the lord of Dragonstone in the distant past, of which Dragonstone is named after. After returning from time spent with the Oleander aristocracy on Le Bellan, Brandon and his fiancee Maelyn Couture decide to tour the growing settlement of Dragonstone, which is showing signs of becoming one of the next major cities of Oleon's colonies. In front of the nearly finished Hotel de Ville lies the statue, shipped from Ladros, and newly placed. On their way to the Hotel de Ville, Brandon and Maelyn stop to admire the statue. @blackdeathgr Notice anything?

Hotel de Ville de Dragonstone by Brandon Stark, on Flickr One of the first buildings to be built in Dragonstone is the Maison du Gouvernement, which is where the newly formed city council of the city meets and is the temporary residence of Mayor Brandon Stark and other important politicians in the city. Built with materials from the Old World and other Oleander colonies, the building is located in a square in the city center, called Place du Gouvernement. Workers have already done the lawn and built a cobblestone path. Outside, two Troupes de la Marine stand guard.

Royal Battery by Brandon Stark, on Flickr A new colony always needs a fort, to protect itself from any enemies. Thus, on a small island that stands at the entrance to Dragonstone Bay, Brandon Lantell, the mayor of Dragonstone, ordered the construction of the Royal Battery. The battery is located on high ground, meaning it is hard to storm, or to be hit by cannon fire, but can also fire down onto any ship trying to force its way into the bay. Though the royal architect in the New World instead headed to Stephanique to build a fort for Lavalette, Brandon was able to request another architect from Breshaun, who was able to make plans for a fort for Dragonstone. Construction began almost as soon as the first settlers began to arrive, and was finished quickly. The fort's construction comes just as war looms between Eslandola and Mardier.
