  1. Hi folks! This is a little spider I have made as a contribution to the Space Zoo Project of TurkLug. It is a strain of tarantula, which is a terrestrial species. It was sent on a shuttle to the depths of space by mankind, as part of studies on extraterrestrial life. As it travelled in space, it passed by a radiation emitting astreoid, which resulted in a mutation. Since its life functions were kept at minimum, its immune system could not combat this mutation. The result was a brand new strain of tarantula. One day, as it stared out of the window of the shuttle, daydreaming, it fell asleep. But a sudden crash awakened it. Then all it remembered was falling asleep again because it was caught. When it opened its eyes, it found itself in a cage surrounded by ultraviolat sensors. And there was a motion sensor before it. It spent the first day in its cage with these observations. As time passed, it got used to its new habitat. The zookeepers even let it go out of its cage at times. And he enjoyed all that free food and comfort provided. Captivity had to have certain bonuses, not?! 1 by balikciklar, on Flickr 2 by balikciklar, on Flickr 3 by balikciklar, on Flickr 4 by balikciklar, on Flickr 5 by balikciklar, on Flickr 6 by balikciklar, on Flickr 7 by balikciklar, on Flickr
