  1. I have been wondering why TLC always changes the baseplates you can find in a modular houses set instead of using the same type of baseplate again and again. Here is a short summary of the sets and the baseplates you find in them: Market Street - 2 baseplates, 16x32, dark grey (Yes, for me it is also a modular building!) Café Corner - 2 baseplates, 16x32, green Green Grocer - 2 baseplates, 16x32, green Fire Brigade - 2 baseplates, 16x32, dark grey Grand Emporium - 1 baseplate, 32x32, tan Pet Shop - 2 baseplates, 16x32, green Town Hall - 1 baseplate, 32x32, tan Palace Cinema - 1 baseplate, 32x32, red Parisian Restaurant - 1 baseplate, 32x32, light grey Of course, there is a point in using two 16x32 baseplates for Pet Shop and Market Street since you can detach the two parts of the buildings from each other. As for the other houses, I do not kow why only sometimes a 32x32 baseplate is used. The different colours of the basepates in the sets (green, grey, tan, red) surprise me. The colour red for a baseplate (Palace Cinema) even strikes me as odd.
