Location: Salida Este The Children of the Salida Este School were putting on a play about a great hero of Eslandola's fight to rid the Island of Ferro Azure of pirates once and for all. It may have been slightly fictitious, since no Pirates have ever been reported on the Island, regardless everyone was having a great time. And Thunder-Rod had come to town to sell fish today, so he was narrating. "The Young Captain Wyndzon forced the dread pirate No-Beard up the steep hill. There would be no escape for the Slippery fox this time." The story in this build is about the esteemed uncle of our leader Guy K Wyndzon. As far as we know he has never actually been to Salida Este. After setting up a mine on Ferro Azure the geologists of the Fontonajo family quickly realised that they had found what they were looking for: Iron!. Román Esteban Fontonajo then decided to immediately send Patrica da Mierda. Patrica was born as the third daughter of a nobleman in Namere, but decided at the age of 15 that her fortune should be in the new world. She got into the mining industry quite quickly, and due to her origin she was a talented leader. When Román got to know her he knew that she was the best person to help him get his mining ventures running. In Ferro Azure she took command of the first Fontonajo Iron Mine on the island, and leads with rigid regiment. She also hired some MCTC mercenaries to guard the mines and protect the workers. The mine is located in the hinterland of Salida Este! I liked the idea of just expanding my prospecting scene, so that's what I did. I really like the result, and think I will go that way for some of my prospecting and mining MOCs in the future as well.

Salida Este, Ferro Azure Acamus is an old man now. He lived his younger days in the old country, dreaming of adventure and working as a tanner. He's retired now and life in the crowded streets of the old country held no more allure to him than rules hold for sea rats, and when the discovery of New Terra reached his old ears he high-tailed it to the docks. He caught a ride on a small trader heading for the islands, which dropped him on Ferro Azure. He built himself a small hut and dug a garden for himself on the outskirts of town, and settled down to write the adventures he'd always dreamed of having, but had never been able to do. The simplicity was beautiful and he now spends his days wandering the island, writing his adventures. Open Roof Closed Roof Garden (Spot the snake) My final freebuild for the month. In Salida Este, on the Island of Ferro Azure It's time to pick some Cotton! The workers are picking and weeding diligently. Except for that guy. He looks like he's taking advantage of the plants' height to take a siesta. He should be hung by his toes from a palm tree. To be licensed shortly as a Small Plantation. C&C Welcome!

Capitan Alonzo, late of the Royal Army of Eslandola, now found himself in the employ of the Merchant’s Colonial Trading Company. When agents of the MCTC discovered the island of Ferro Azure in February of 616, the MCTC quickly established the settlement of Salida Este to secure their claim. Capitan Alonzo was tasked with fortifying Salida Este and protecting its anchorage. Protecting the settlement itself should be a simple matter of building a palisade, and so he assigned several men to this task and then turned his attention to the trickier task: finding a suitable location for his artillery battery to command the harbor. Alas, at this early stage, he had only one cannon for such a battery, but such were the conditions so far from home at the far end of the world. Scouting locations on the heights above the harbor, Capitan Alonzo and his men found a spot that offered a clear view of the harbor while maintaining excellent defensive cover. After a few weeks of hard work, they had cleared the trees, leveled out a gun platform, and built defensive earthworks. Powder and shells were in place. Capitan Alonzo was pleased with the progress of his men. More guns would be needed in the future, but this was a good start. *** About the uniforms: Capitan Alonzo still wears the golden armor and morion of his Royal command. His MCTC militiamen wear sleeveless buffcoats over green shirts, and their morions are of blackened steel.
