I recently pulled out LEGO Robotics Invention System Set 9719 from the basement. I believe this is the first mindstorms set. The instructions are complete, but the instructions for the robot claw arm pictured were never part of the set. As far as I can tell it was an optional DL from the lego website. As this was about 20 years ago, you can guess that those instructions are no longer on the website. In fact, I have only roughly pieced together conclusion that they were ever on the website, I may well be wrong. I know this doesn't compare to modern Mindstorm options. But I really have my heart set on building this claw arm. Does anyone have any leads on where these directions might be available? It's old enough that it is not in the usual places that I know of that record instructions or alt. builds. Please and Thankyou. Else, I am sorry, I am not strictly certain this belongs in this forum (maybe in the "looking for" forum), but I thought the mindstorm nature of this search might put it here instead of general lego places.
