  1. Thank you for the feedback *yoda* !
  2. Thank you for that info. But I still don't understand why they continue to use the logo on their product information sheets. These are the ones they currently use. Strange. If the sets are not pure system elements anymore, whats up with the pic above? Look, I even had my older brother make this shirt from cafepress. (Hopefully they won't say the logo is copywritten, and not let me buy it.)
  3. Nice start. I agree that the colours should be changed, but I do love the front sail with the coat of arms on it.
  4. Happy Birthday! :-)
  5. Thanks all! :) She is so funny, she sould pick up the lego soldier, then try to run off with it! Then she went up on the other troopers and walked on them like stepping stones. :-D EDIT: Here's an updated pic with shadows, and better contrast.
  6. I created this thread a few weeks ago actually. I stared with 21 men. I posted a picture of the expansion yesterday, which was 2 admirals. If I expand anymore, it would be with admirals, since I love those admiral/governor torsos and hats! X-D Here is a picture of my troops in battle. :-D They journeyed to World's end to save one of the troops, but the mission was a faliure when they came face to face with one of the huge creatures lurking there (who had eaten their lost troop). :-D
  7. Its a unique condition, but I'm ok! :-D Thanks!
  8. The H.M.S. Broadside hasen't delivered their razors yet! :-D The feathers came from Bricklink.com ;-) . Really, they came from one of those feather 'wheels', you know, the small ones, medium ones, then the triple ones. Here you go: http://peeron.com/inv/parts/4502a
  9. This ones for you, Mr. Phes!
  10. I do! Sir Nadroj, the new Imperial Soldier Governor! :-P I like the sound of that! ;-)
  11. Thank you everyone! Yeah, but His Majesty's Ship The Woodhouse doesn't sound as good as Broadside. X-D
  12. Different parts of the world get the sets at different times.
  13. Thanks everyone. But I don't wear it around my house. X-D I feel like its all dusty and old since it is an antique. And my face is fine, don't worry about it! :-D
  14. Well, the boogeyman does check his closet for Chuck Norris! :-D EDIT: Great! now look what happened to my sig! (I'll change the fact everyday if I remember!)
  15. Interesting. This is such a big mystery to me. Has lego released any official statments? Another thing is on one of the little product info sheets they have currently (I think its orange) that you get when you order online, it shows the lego types i.e., QUARTO, DUPLO, SYSTEM. If I remember, I'll take a picture.
  16. Actually, 'dead' is the offical term to describe logos and copywritten material that are no longer in use.
  17. Does anyone know if the "System" logo is officialy 'dead'?
  18. Thanks. I know, its weird to compare lego things to real things to see the scale.
  19. Thanks, and yes, I do have too many brown heads, but then again, you can never have enough lego products in my opinon! :-D
  20. System sets, to me, are classic. Everything else...eh....i'm ify on. Remember it was the Lego Logo, then system, then in the top right had corner it had the theme name in a little triangle. (That was of course, after the legoland banner across the top left-hand corners of the boxes.) Personally, I have no clue what happened. Maybe they changed it for the year 2000, because after 1999, the "System" logo stopped. Strange. Maybe they wanted to change for the new century. :-(
  21. I think its a ploy to sell the sets at a higher price. Another limited set is the Skeleton Ship Attack, but lego came up with the excuse that the skeleton capatin is an exclusive figure. :-|
  22. Hello. I don't know if there is a thread like this already, but what happened to the "System" logo from the lego boxes? After they took it away, in my opinon, lego went down the toliet, and its only til now they are coming back with better products. Could somebody please help?
  23. I wouldn't say obsessed, but I do appreciate the hat. X-D EDIT: Ya got me!
  24. 57c Hello everyone! I whipped this ship up in two hours flat! I call it the H.M.S. Broadside. It is named after the late Governor Broadside, who tragically lost a duel against Redbeard. :'-( There 6 cannons, 1 chaston, and three masts. I think the figure head is pretty good, but I think the stern-castle could use a couple more windows. I also put the hull on an angle to give a cartoonish effect. (I love cartoonish ships!) The H.M.S. Broadside pulls into Fort Brimstone http://eurobricks.hosting.ipsyn.com/eurofo...showtopic=10586 occasinally to deliver supplies (food, wine, gunpowder, etc.). Would this ship stand up against the Armageddon http://eurobricks.hosting.ipsyn.com/eurofo...showtopic=10175? NO! :-D Comments welcome! Thanks for looking! P.S. See Mr. Tiber? I stopped posting in the person above you thread, and look what I made! ;-)
