Hello, one and all. I'm an AFOL (41 years old) who got into Lego properly around 1979, with my very first minifig (the medic car-driving black-pigtailed lady medic - whom I still have), although I've slid in and out of Dark Ages often since then. I only discovered the online community a couple of months ago, and the creativity shown by the builders, modders, decal artists and MOC-makers blows my mind. Since most of my Lego collection was lost or left behind over years and successive moves (leaving home, marriage, etc), I'm slowly building up my brick & minifig stocks, in the hope I can make a small contribution to the community eventually. LuxorV, you're brilliant! I hadn't expected such a quick, and excellent, response. The masks are exactly what I wanted, and the brolly design is elegant and very clever (congrats to whoever it was). Once I've assembled Big Ben as far as I can, I'll post a pic here - and if I ever get hold of a suitable bowler, I'll update it. Thanks again for your help. what a great forum this is! I'm new to this forum, and having read this thread I'm very, very impressed with the many helpful designers who kindly donate their time and expertise. I wonder if someone might be able to help me, please; I'm in need of a yellow (or transparent) head decal of a black domino mask with a basic grin or straight-line mouth. I'm trying to create the British '80's hero character Big Ben, "the man with no time for crime". I've been able to assemble the body from standard minifig parts, but the only domino masks available on standard heads are green, red, or purple. (and if anyone can direct me to someone who can make a minifig-fitting bowler hat - and for that matter, a rolled black umbrella - I'd be thrilled!) Grateful for any assistance which can be rendered.
