Let's focus on the positives here. TLG's proven that Super Heroes is a tremendously successful line and if the presence at the Con is any indication, I don't see the theme ending any time soon. This should translate into more sets and awesome figs for all of us. (Though less money will be in our wallets.)

$70 is far too much to pay for that improperly proportioned model. Or Kreo in general. I picked up the Megabloks Enterprise D during my dark ages for $10 (it was steeply discounted and I didn't know any better at the time). While not the highest quality of bricks or design, at least it had the right proportions and overall shape. This Kreo... thing... barely looks like what it's supposed to be. And people, no trolling about the merits of the different Star Trek series or movies. The internet is chock full of places to vent nerd rage on that subject and this is not one of those places. Legocrazy81- bashing clone brands is fine in moderation. As long as said bashing is done tastefully and well-reasoned, it shouldn't get out of hand.

Arguing with Moderators will only lead you into trouble. I suggest you stop. It's not an arbitrary rule. If it didn't exist, ancient threads would be bumped all the time and EB would hardly be navigable. If you really have something to contribute to the thread, bumping an old thread can be acceptable. But it had better be something worthy of reviving the topic. The contribution UCSProductions1 made does not qualify. It could have easily been made in the "What did you buy today?" thread. Algernon: An index makes old reviews accessible so that you can always read them if you are interested in a certain set. But again, posting in an old thread should only be done if it will start a meaningful conversation.

So many enemies for Cronk to bash, Cronk find it hard to choose. Hmmm... Cronk will bash Elite Archer from front row. Unless party leader think Cronk should go after Heavy Elite Guard. Cronk could also absorb free hit from normal guards or mage if Cronk is put on top of list.

My thoughts exactly. As long as we get a nice version of the character, I'm all good. I don't need every variation of every character but I'd like to complete my Super Friends. A diverse non-Batman rogues gallery would be nice as well. I certainly hope that we'll see both Shazam and Bizzaro in some form down the line. Let's not forget that the Superman "exclusive" last year did find it's way into a very reasonably priced set. Hopefully history will repeat there. I would love to see a set with Supes battling his evil doppelgänger .

Hopefully, I'll find more motivation to get MOCs completed. And the time to make them, of course. The kid with the skater torso has the S7 Daredevil hair. It's a recolor of the Mechanic's hair.

If by modular you mean that it could be put next to the buildings, maybe. It wasn't really designed that way. The rules of the contest stated that it had to fit on the baseplate with no overlap. I don't really have a modular building to put it next to to see if it would work with them. It actually does rotate. Just manually since it's only on a swivel plate thing. The propellors of the planes spin as well but they're a little fragile.

B-OV-36B Down on the boardwalk, the old carnival rides are still running. I built this for the Rebrick Octopus contest. I managed to get one picture up on their site before I lost power last week. This afternoon I had the opportunity to take some more photos. Enjoy. Cap'n Octo himself. Some patrons enjoy the ride more than others. Originally, I was going to make half of the ride boats but I couldn't come up with a design I liked. So just gloss over the flaw in logic that connects a sailor octopus with little airplanes, please. "A hundred dollars for an ice cream cone?! That's daylight robbery!" The ride operator takes a break so I can show you the ride's controls. All pics hosted on Flickr.
