  1. Woof! Yeah, what's taking so long, Carly? Seeking advice from your scummy team mates like your buddy Wallace did yesterday? While I wait, I'll finish up my reading of Harriet Slutter and the Goblet of Guts. It's a cautionary tale about not thinking with your head.
  2. WOOF! Of course the Cultists are trying to kill us all but they won't do so randomly. As others have pointed out, Bristol is always quiet. Why should her normal behavior make the scum think she was hiding anything? Speaking of lurkers, I placed two votes yesterday trying to get some quiet people to speak up. The first was Bristol and she spoke up at her first opportunity. The second was Wallace who, while he hung around during that time, ignored my vote until he placed a bandwagon vote on Petey. What's interesting to me is that while Wallace was ignoring me (and as I now think looking for advice from his scum pals), someone else did argue with me about my vote for him. Not too pushy yet. But she calls my vote silly and wants me to vote for Casey. Reasons? Just that I'm being silly. That's a great reason to me to change my vote. Quite pushy now. I should change my vote because she wants my opinion? I gave my opinion already that I didn't think any of the bandwagons were worth joining. And she admits to bandwagoning here. And then suddenly she's afraid my one vote will lynch poor Wallace. Why defend a lurker? And for the record, I think we got some information from the "lurkers" speaking up. I strongly suspected Wallace of being scum based on his lack of response to my vote. He was around for most of that time and he only showed up to place a bandwagon vote. I thought that he was afraid of speaking too much and giving away his scumminess. If the bear trap was indeed our vigilante, someone else must have thought this behavior was suspicious enough to kill him.
  3. You have some kind of speech impediment? WOOF! Blocking and protection aren't the only alternatives I brought forward but they seem the more likely ones at this point. It's speculation of course, but I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking Bristol was a poor choice for a scum kill. I would also think a cult worshipping an arsonist would be a little more flamboyant in their killing. Neither kill today involved fire. Yes, I'm making assumptions at this point but they're based off of facts we have. I don't care how much Occam needs a shave, your simple explanation has holes in it.
  4. Roof? We're outside. Oh, you mean WOOF! They wouldn't know who the "special" people were any more than the rest of us. Only "special" one I noticed was Pennie and that was a different kind of special. You really think the scum would kill someone barely contributing to the town on the off chance they had an ability? Doesn't sound like a very well thought out plan to me. Oh and I misspoke before, the book I meant to refer to earlier was Harriet Slutter and the Deadly Baritones 3 Much better than 2. It had more explosions.
  5. Woof! (why not?) Of course, the axe killer could be the scum killer. But the only reason to kill someone barely participating would be if they thought that person wouldn't be protected. That sounds more like what the serial killer did in Harriet Slutter and the Deadly Baritones 2, though. I would think the scum would have tried to take out a potential leader before a town core was formed. If Bristol was killed by an axe-weilding serial killer, there are still several possibilities as far as scum kill. As Ernie said, the trap could have been a defensive thing to kill the scum killer. That would be a great scenario for us. Their killer might have been blocked or their target protected. Also good for us. We should also leave open the possibility of a delayed poison type kill or a conversion. Those would not be so good for us. Unfortunately only time will tell what went on last night.
  6. Bearded man was frozen for at least some years so it only natural. Party does need to know if Wren got amulet. What went wrong with Roderick?
  7. Hooray! Cronk bash evil! Cronk will heal Alexis so that all friends are at full strength. Mr. Wizard, Friends need to know what happen here. Was Mr. Wizard part of Wren party?
  8. That kinda cheap. Kight super strong now. Cronk will now bash knight from back row.
  9. Well, I didn't ask you.
  10. But... um, Cronk like bashing evil more?
  11. A talking statue?! This is just like in Harriet Slutter and the Half-Dead Stump! Hopefully it won't whack one of us on the head like the one in the book did to poor Rufus Weasley. It did serve the romance plot with Pandora Granger when they made out in the infirmary afterwards, so I guess it didn't turn out so bad for him. Oh, Edgar, it's getting chilly. Just cuddle with me a while, won't you?
  12. Haldor, please heal Tesni this round. Cronk is extra effective against demons or Cronk would do so Cronk's self.
  13. Uh huh. Unvote: Wallace Walrus (Masked Builder) I'd be happier if "participation" didn't just mean to show up and hop on the bandwagon. I don't feel strongly enough about any of the front runners to vote for any of them. For now, I'll abstain.
  14. Reviewers Academy teacher Oky has come up with a review for the new summer Spider-Man set. Check it out in the Licensed Forum!
  15. That wierd. Zoot's Bane should do more damage than that. Cronk will bash knight form front row once more. Cronk hopes friends can dispatch this twisted version of knighthood quickly.
  16. I'm lynching lurkers with my one vote? Hardly. Even if the ones I call out for inactivity only speak one more time a day, they'll be saying something. And that's one more statement for us to analyze later. You can do as you like, just don't think I'm going to follow your lead. You of all people may not realize this but I'm not a sheep. I can think for myself and I'm my own woman. I've built a grocery empire up from a simple corner store. This bitch has brains.
  17. One of the main candidates? So I should follow a jerk gorilla, an idiotic former-mayor, or a cow that can't even tell animals apart in lynching candidates that don't seem suspicious to me in the slightest? I'm sorry you feel that me trying to pull us together to form an active fighting town is silly. I'll try to do my best to follow the lead of such upstanding citizens and bandwagon on the flimsiest of candidates.
  18. I don't care how someone normally is. If their normal response to these kind of situations is to become dead weight, all the more reason to break them out of that funk. Always being quiet is a good way to disguise scumminess without putting a lot of effort into it. And if there's a scum who is not used to be active, they're more likely to give themselves away when we force them to be. I agree that you should mention names when pointing fingers or none of us will have a clue who you're talking about. This is the first day. None of us have a lot to say but most are managing to do so anyway. Please be a part of this town and help us catch the scum before they kill us all. Unvote: Bristol Bunny (Bob) Vote: Wallace Walrus (Masked Builder) Say something Wallace. Let us know you're still around. Get up and do jumping jacks, anything.
  19. I would give up on trying to stir up the lurkers if I thought the Casey/Petey/Pennie thing had any weight to it. It's entirely possible that one of them is scum. I don't find any of their reactions to be so scummy, though, to drop all other priorities and vote for one of them. If you think there's information to be gleaned from one of their deaths, go ahead. I'm just trying to make us stronger by getting our weakest links to take some responsibility for themselves and for the rest of us sharing in this ordeal. Let's not give the scum an easy ride by letting anybody ride under the radar. The more people talk and contribute, the easier it will be to judge every citizen in coming days. If the lurkers don't get active, they give us nothing to go on and become easy targets for when we have no leads to lynch or for when the scum try to misdirect us.
  20. The intention is not to lynch lurkers. If Bristol starts participating, I'll gladly apply pressure elsewhere. The intention is to force everyone to work hard and be vocal. This is life and death here. No one should be half-hearted about it.
  21. Grr. Cronk thanks Haldor for restoring health. Cronk will bash knight from front row.
  22. No, you misunderstand. The idea is to put pressure on the quiet ones to get them to become more active. If the scum are forced to pretend to be active members of the town, we should be able to single them out from real town members easier. Webs of lies are easy to unravel. Harriet Slutter would apply pressure and see what pops. And if it works for Harriet, it should work for us.
  23. I'd like Bristol Bunny to say a few words to prove she's still breathing. Vote: Bristol Bunny (Bob) If the cultists have no inactive crowd to hide among, they should be easier to catch.
  24. Hey, I never said I was a baker. The potpourri I added did make the pies smell nice at least. It might be all right if it was properly formatted. Good rhyming, though. Weird that the rabbits seem to be the quietest of us. Coincidence or bunny conspiracy? Either way they should be more open and chat a bit more so we can get to know them better.
  25. Ideas? That's a relief, I thought we were going to vote for people. I don't mind lynching a few ideas. I wish Harriet Slutter were here. She'd know what to do. Since she isn't here, though, I think we have to find these cultists on our own. I'd love to hear from some of our more quiet citizens before voting opens up. There's not a lot to scrutinize today and a lot of what's been said is somewhat meaningless but at least it's something. It's frustrating not having anything to base an opinion on. This is life and death, people. Give us an opinion, a poem, anything. Just talk.
