Steampunk Mafia: Conclusion

We can't all blow ourselves up for you every game, Hinck. -
Steampunk Mafia: Conclusion
CorneliusMurdock replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I felt the same in IMHOTEP. Bigger but same concept. Those that need to protect themselves have the responsibility to not get lynched early on. Town can't get so caught up on not making mistakes that they don't use the means given them to find scum. Once you build a town block, then you can start worrying about protecting people. -
Steampunk Mafia: Conclusion

You were just full of irony this game, CMP. And as much of a headache a ghost vig would have been for us scum to deal with, it would have been fun to see. And it goes to show you that not lynching is stupid. If Shadows hadn't gotten a scum result on someone or had the sense to not immediately come forward with it himself ( ), town would have been just as lost that second day. I would have been against tying the vote whether I was scum or not. Lynching is part of the game, play it. How people react to the lynch and who voted and why are all great things to know going into a second day. Besides looking for scum tells, you can gauge how everyone's playing to see if you can find someone to be an ally. -
Steampunk Mafia: Conclusion

Defending Shadows?! You must be scum! Seriously, though, I don't think you did anything wrong with confronting Pandora. I know we were worried about it. Really, it was Pandora not giving up that got you killed. Even seeing it happen from the scum side, I'm amazed at how she pulled it off. If you guys had been even slightly more organized at the end, you might have realized what was going on. After we killed Shadows, no one was talking to any of us. There was a while that we thought Shadows had passed on his info and you guys were being sneaky about it. We had to be cautious because any one of us could have had evidence against us at that point. Cecilie could have been watched killing. I could have been outed as the other "protector". And you guys had already latched on to Pandora being scum. When it turned out you guys had nothing and that you weren't really communicating outside the day thread either, we pressed our advantage and caused confusion. -
Thanks for pointing out that this isn't a rant. I might have gotten confused. Reusing prints is a way for TLG to save money. If a head print is available already that will work for a certain character, they'll reuse it. The Jameson head is a good example. Jameson looks enough like the airplane mechanic form Raiders of the Lost Ark that there wasn't a need to completely redesign a head print. I do agree that some of their prints look really similar in the Super Hero line. That may be the style of whichever designer they have doing the work for it, though. Try using capitol letters and proper punctuation in the future, please.

Steampunk Mafia: Conclusion

But what did you leave JimB to work with? "Shadows said so." You can't fault a town for not following your instructions (I use the term loosely) after you die when you don't tell them anything. -
Heroica RPG - Quest #29: Journey to Dastan
CorneliusMurdock replied to JimBee's topic in The Heroica Archive
Did any friend notice where Russel went? Cronk find it hard refrain from bashing when battle seem so close. Cronk would love to help with battle here but party was sent for specific reason. Cronk worried that if friends help here, War will be lost elsewhere. -
Steampunk Mafia: Conclusion
CorneliusMurdock replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Because there was no evidence. If JimB had even been told why you believed her to be scum, he might've had something to work from. In the end, it seemed only like your opinion. And even a dead townie's opinion isn't enough to convict wily scum. I'm glad that most people didn't suspect me but, like Cecilie, I'm afraid that my performance will affect my future in mafia. The PGO/Bomb and vengeful spirit do explain why we had to play it out the last day. It seemed when we were 3-3 that town wouldn't have been able to get rid of any of us. So I guess it's lucky for us that we were able to convince the others to lynch Zepher. -

Congratulations to my fellow scummies! The best team a scum could hope for. -
Halloween Review Finale: 4766 Graveyard Duel
CorneliusMurdock replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Licensed
Are you aware that the review is from 2008? I'm not sure if you're question is worthy enough to bump such an old topic but I'll let it stand this time. Don't make this sort of thing a habit. I agree the green skeleton is odd but I bet it's supposed to be in the middle of being manipulated by magic or something. -
Since James Bond is not an officailly licensed theme, I'm moving this over to special.

Heroica RPG - Quest #29: Journey to Dastan
CorneliusMurdock replied to JimBee's topic in The Heroica Archive
Whoops, sorry Cronk meant Emperor Roland Emeraldo. This Cronk's first time in Dastan and Cronk gets confused about names sometimes. Soldier Russel, party's guide, can confirm Cronk's story. Party here under orders. So if soldier want to help or not, soldier need to stand down and let heroes do work. -
Steampunk Mafia Day Five
CorneliusMurdock replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
It might make us reconsider if the claim was more than a last-ditch effort to save yourself and/or find the king. Based on the rest of your behavior today, it just doesn't add up. Then you turn around and accuse me without any evidence. Where's the "logic" in that? -
Steampunk Mafia Day Five
CorneliusMurdock replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I'm not sure what you expect at this point, Zerard. Clemence is right. If you are the King, we've lost tonight. I don't see how we could save you even if you were telling the truth. I did receive a chain the first night. I hadn't told anyone so either you did send it to me or the sender told you about it. And Clemence is right again, you could very well be a scum inventor. There's one thing that doesn't ring true to me. Most of us have agreed that our actions seem linked to our identities. An inventor doesn't seem like a very kingly ability. I'm inclined to believe that Zerard is playing us for time. There's one other reason for him to claim King if he's scum. The only way to disprove it is for the real king to come forward. And if the king were to fall for it, they'd know who to kill tonight. Zerard has been fishing for the king all day. Now it seems that he's willing to sacrifice his scummy self so that his final scum mate can get the win tonight. It's a brilliant plan. My vote's staying where it is. -

(Diplomacy) No need to be alarmed. Cronk and friends have come to pick up supplies for Emperor Drakencourt. Party is gathering up what Emperor want and will be on way to front lines soon. Friends do not want to get in soldier's way here. -
Review: 6868 Hulk's Helicarrier Breakout
CorneliusMurdock replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
You were saying? Since I reviewed the set before seeing the movie, I thought it was just a little joke LEGO came up with. It is even funnier after seeing the movie. -

Can I ask where you found this? When will it take place? Okay, I had it working and you messed it up again. There, fixed it again. -
Steampunk Mafia Day Five
CorneliusMurdock replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Um, Bess, there are two assassins left. How can either of the sets of people you mention be scum as well as one of the lynch candidates? So, Zerard, now your accusation of Polly is based upon the fact that her claim fits the facts too well and that she's got some lucky/unlikely breaks? The truth is stranger than fiction and you're one odd duck. -
Steampunk Mafia Day Five
CorneliusMurdock replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
You're either not paying attention or just trying to manipulate those who aren't. Since this fact has been pointed out to you before, I'm inclined to think the latter. Polly didn't claim protector, she claimed blocker. I don't see how her claim has anything to do with what Meahon said. Meahon dug his own grave. I do think he was the protector. If he hadn't acted so weird, he might have had a chance. Jane was never given any reason for Shanana's distrust. For all we know it was based on a gut feeling. Just because Shanana was a royalist doesn't mean she was right 100% of the time. If she really had evidence on Polly, you'd think she'd have had the foresight to actually tell someone what it was. If she was so sure, why wouldn't she? You're trying to argue your way out by molding the facts to fit whatever you want it to. -

Yeah, Hinck. Put me in less distracting slacks so Zepher's dirty mind can concentrate better. -
Steampunk Mafia Day Five
CorneliusMurdock replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
No time for presenting evidence either, eh? I thought the "if so and so is town than so and so is scum" argument was stupid yesterday and I still think it is today. Just because they accused one another doesn't mean it's one or the other. Your logic's skipped the track there, Charles. Someone's rubbed me the wrong way all day. He acts like he's helping town but want he wants doesn't seem very townie to me. Zerard basically wanted everyone tell him who we were. He can pretend all he wants to that the actions have nothing to do with the identities but it doesn't make it true. And why should we trust him? Because he came up with the flawed plan? I find his behavior today too scummy to tolerate with the fishing for info in both public and private. He thinks he can get the King to reveal himself, but he's sorely mistaken. Vote: Zerard Wolfe (Zepher)
