  1. 6) Zombie Entry (Build by Darkblane) 2 Points 52) Deep Sea Diver Entry (Build by graznador) 1 Point I'm a little surprised there was only one Cowboy entry!
  2. MMV is probably one of the best Lego sets of any theme in the past few years. If you peek around at the reviews, you'd probably have trouble finding anyone who disagrees. You mentioned that you purchased it already - I don't think there's anything wrong with buying multiples for the pieces. Plus, it's the only way to get the Peasant torso.
  3. Stunning!! I can't wait to see more of the interior!
  4. If you're interested in Minifigs for your creations, I find that Drawbridge Defense (7079) is a great way deal, netting you 7 figs and a handful of pieces useful for Castle creations.
  5. I love the gatling gun you got there!
  6. Price wise, it would seem like you'd be better off getting 7949 and 7950s as army builders instead. In CAD, 7949 gives you 6 Minifigs for about $27 and 7950 gives you 4 for $20. You'd be sacrificing a fig for a handful of pieces, and there's a different distribution of factions, but at least quality wouldn't be an issue. I just wish the Dragon Knights were available in larger quantities in sets.
  7. This makes me wish I had gotten more than one Forestmen...Great job!
  8. It looks like Rex left the Power Mining business to join the Pitstop team .
  9. Does anyone know how long these will be in production for? Series 2 is supposed to drop August/September so I wonder if Series 1 will be discontinued by then.
  10. Just out of curiosity, how much did you pay for these online?
  11. They had a handful of Jester and Wizard impulses at TRU Woodbridge if you're willing to make the trip. Of course, I saw these about a week ago so fingers crossed there's still some left. There were only about 4 of each last I checked.
  12. 6. Killagorilla Siege and Blockade of Yorktown 1781 +1 Vote 17. Lego Warlord 8 Battle of Bennington +1 Vote 18. Etzel The "Kalabalik" at Bender +1 Vote
  13. That stage looks gorgeous!!
  14. It is the year 802, 701 AD. The human race has evolved into a nearly unrecognizable species, having lost most of its sensory functions and emerging as pale, faceless beings. In return, humans have been gifted with highly developed telepathy, creating a network of minds that blurs their conception of individuality while giving access to an effectively omniscient system of knowledge; the mentally joined physical sensations of humanity creates what is effectively a telepathic map of the physical world. This voyeuristic, telepathic link should eliminate the presence of crime...and yet there are those born without this link and mentally isolated from society, while possessing none of humanity's former senses to accommodate their deficiency. These unfortunate few often rage against the that world surrounds them, to which they are horribly blind, and are left only with the sensation of touch to seek revenge. Likewise, their mental isolation from society allows them to roam undetected amongst ordinary citizens until it is too late. This is why the Ghosts exist. The Ghosts are a secretive law enforcement group with specially-designed technology to close their minds from the collective consciousness while maintaining their access to the minds of others. Here, we see a Ghost officer piloting a standard Probe. In flight, the Probes drift silently and seamlessly, controlled via a direct mental reading of the piloting officer. Amongst the deaf and blind public, the existence of the Ghosts is only rumored, even as Probes drift through the busiest locations. Though the Probe is normally operated entirely through telepathy, the occasional malfunction forces the pilot to use his hands. Here, one sees a rare glimpse of the inner-workings of a Probe vessel and the energy cell on which it runs. Our piloting officer encounters a smuggling operation; the miscreants are dealing what appears to be nixium , a dangerous mineral from ages past, used primarily to manufacture weapons. So long as he is weightless on his feet, the Ghost should remain undetected. Built for BrickHorizon's Protect and Serve competition. Unfortunately, I didn't place but it was great fun putting this little thing together.
  15. I actually love that the crossbows replaced the old bow. The old bow has always looked awkward and impossible to pose with the minifig; he couldn't shoot straight without standing sideways! However, that bow that KimT posted looks gorgeous!
  16. 2 Points Sandy's Hippogrif Palace 1 Point bricknave's Scorpion Sweeper
  17. Really tempting set but $55 Canadian for 225 pieces will probably keep me away. Just a question, is this a Lego exclusive or will they be in TRUs as well? I've seen all the other TS3 sets at Toysrus except this one.
  18. That was awesome! And the tank actually looks a bit simplified so it looks like a toy tank for the men!
  19. Unrelated, but I'm curious as to how you lit the internals of that house!
  20. Awesome mine shaft and I love the mushroom build!
  21. This is really nice. I especially like the hardwood flooring with the tiles on the second floor and the cheese slopes for the soda dispenser! The look of it actually kind of reminds me of Potbelly, a sandwich chain in the US if you've been. Great job!
  22. Does anyone know if the Lego store at Bluewater, Kent or any other stores in London have Green Grocer in stock? I'm visiting England in a few weeks and the website has it as In Stock in the UK. If I can pick it up from a store, it might save me some trouble.
  23. WOW. That is the most beautiful MOC I think I have ever seen.
  24. I've never seen the male Chinese figs from TLC - I assume they're from the Orient line. I don't think the Chinese really look Chinese either! Looks like they exaggerated the 'slant' a bit too much on the men to the point where they look sinister (Although this might've been intentional if they're meant to be villains)! Though I'm usually opposed to oversensitivity, I could imagine some people taking a little offense to the design of the figs. The female fig does a better job of the asian eyes without looking too caracature-ized.
