They have this new Powercore Combiners theme going on. Something like Headmaster/Targetmaster/Mini-Cons from the looks of it. The design resembles the movie and Classics line.

Pretty good song, can't say that often about commercial Hip-Hop these days. I've been listening to the Shawshank Redemption score. It gives me chills, in a good way!

Just to remind everyone, the prices are merely what I found after research, bids/offers are more than welcome. Thanks! -
Batman: Arkham Asylum is one of the best games released in 2009 in my opinion. If Transformers: War for Cybertron does for Transformers what Batman: Arkham Asylum did for Batman in terms of games, I will need a clean pair of pants. Choosing the War for Cybertron story is a smart move as not too many people know it, which means they have more freedom.

Hey guys. I live in the Netherlands (Doetinchem to be precise) and can ship to anywhere in the world, I have no idea how much it costs, would have to check that out. Pickup is also available, but I don't see anyone taking a plane to get here anytime soon :P. Prices are listed in euros. The only payment I accept is PayPal, because it's safe for both the buyer and the seller. What you see is what you get. Every set is complete. Even if a piece is missing on the photo, it is included, unless stated otherwise. In some cases I took a picture and found the missing piece afterwards. Same goes for instructions. Everything is disassembled and stored in handy Zip-Lock bags! Murs & 9th Wonder - Murs 3:16 (9th Edition) Wonderful album. Classic!

Do Suske & Wiske, Kuifje and Lucky Luke ring a bell? I used to call comic books strips, it confused me and others! Have you heard about the Ultimate universe from Marvel comics? They took the old universe and modernized it, changed things. One of those things being that the heroes actually kill. Captain America uses his shield to decapitate people, the Hulk eats his enemies and so forth. I'd recommend checking it out, start with the old ones since nowadays the Ultimate universe is pretty much dead and not that popular.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I liked the Beast Wars comic books

I don't have the 10179 MF, yet but seeing this makes me want to get it. 1 question though: do you think you could post instructions or a tutorial? It is truly a sight to behold, Kudos!

Back in 2005 when I joined my first forum (Action-Figure.com, now defunct) I wanted to go for Gambit because he's my favourite Marvel character, but that name was already taken. So I added Mr. in front of it and made it Mr.GamBit because it seemed really cool to me at the time. My nicknames was lil Gambit because I was 15-17 back then but now that I'm older it's Mr.GamBit. I use it on every forum I visit and it's easy for people to reckognize me. [EDIT: Just noticed it's Mr.Ganbit d'oh. Can this be changed to Mr.GamBit?]

An opinion is an opinion and everyone is entitled to having one. Mine: G1 and G2 were inovative for their time but the cartoon is extremely campy and sometimes the animation just goes haywire! Dissapearing faces, background, heck they sometimes even get the colors and voices messed up! Have to say I really enjoyed it when I was little, today... not so much. It's hard for me to watch more than 3 episodes in a row. Beast Wars still holds it's own today. The series was completey computer animated and featured some of the character developments and stories ever. My favourite series. The figures were hit and miss, but they tried, like they always do. Beast Machines was ok, the second season was definately better as the story progressed. Not to fond of the design and animation, still think Beast Wars looks better most of the time. Toys were meh in most cases. Robots in Disguise was typically Japanese, the animation was pretty awesome but the random mix of characters and story doesn't appeal to me. The toys have some of the best designs ever, still being pretty damn impressive to this day. Armada, Energon, Cybertron: Can't stand the animation on these, Armada's ok from time to time but they have some really bad episodes where the animation quality isn't what it's supposed to be, reminds me of Dragon Ball GT. They have some good toys though, not a big fan of gimmicks, at all, especially when they're useless and take articulation or hinder the overall appearance of the toy. First time we ever got an Unicron and Primus though. Animated is one of the best shows ever if you ask me, full of homages and plain old fun adventures. The style might put some people off, but I got used to and really like it. Too bad the show is cancelled. The toys are amazing in terms of engineering, they have great posability and they look slick as hell! I know there are some Japanese series as well, but I never watched those. Have a few Japanese Beast Wars and I quite like them. The movie didn't really appeal to me. Felt more like Humans with Transforming robots to me. Thought the second one was even worse. Action wise it was pretty good, but the story really lacked, as did the acting. Not to big of a fan of the toy designs, but there are some real winners in there! The Alternators figures have me hooked, amazing engineering! Cars that look like model cars that Transform into posable modern version of the G1 characters I know and love. I've dreamt about this when I was little. Same goes for the Masterpiece line, those are some very, very, very impressive Transformers! They might cost a bunch, but they're unlike anything I've ever seen. An Optimus Prime that is show-accurate in both vehicle and robot mode? Rock on! Then there's the Classics line. Filled with modern updates of old characters, great posability, transformations and designs. It seems to me like Transformers are only getting better and better.

This might not surprise you, but everyone and their little annoying cousin are making jokes about this. Too bad they're not funny or clever at all...

I quite enjoy Cynadie of Happiness from time to time. As to comics, I've been reading Marvel Zombies and Marvel Apes lately (they're... ok). Been avoiding most of Marvel's main stuff because they're jumping from one big event to another. Saw some pictures of X-Men: Necrosha, might look into that. Seem similiar to DC Comics Green Lantern: Blackes Night. Might get into that, it definately looks awesome!

Which movies can you watch over and over again?
PattieCake replied to Bobskink's topic in Culture & Multimedia
For the time being: - No Country for Old Men - Shawshank Redemption - The Green Mile - What's Eating Gilbert Grape? - Rain Man - Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - The Truman Show - The Cable Guy - Star Wars Ep 4-6 - Wall-E - Up - The Nightmare Before Christmas - Transformers (animated) - Justice League - Crisis on Two Earths (animated) - Planet Hulk (animated) - Hulk vs. Wolverine (animated) - Turtles 4 Ever (animated) - Iron Man - The Incredible Hulk (2008) - The Dark Knight -
I used to collect Marvel Legends and have about every single one of them, minus the latest 2-packs that came out, I'm in no hurry to get those. Also got a ton of Transfomers, cherry picking from the different lines. The Alternators line has me hooked, unfortunately that line is out of production, that's why I'm considering customizing my own so I shall one day have the core Autbot team from Generation 1. Have a bunch of Dutch Marvel comics stored in boxes, not buying those anymore because I prefer reading the English ones. Trying to get my hands on a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle NECA Raphael, he's the last of the 4 I need. Something I discovered recently is the SHFiguarts line from Japan, got the 2 only Dragon Ball Z figures thus far, will definately get the rest when they come out. I think that's about it...

Greetings, true believers! My name is Patrik Warris, I'm 19 years old (soon to become 20) and I'm from the Netherlands. Right now I'm finishing the last year of high school so I can study Psychology next year. I've been playing with Lego as long as I can remember, going to LegoLand Denmark when I was little. I still remember the big warehouse they had where they had a tons of Lego, it was like heaven! My favourite theme is the master builder series, notably the Star Wars portion of it. My other interests include Comic books (mostly Marvel Comics), Transformers (mostly Beast Wars), and listening to some good old Hip Hop (don't stop!). I'm sure I'll enjoy my stay here :D. Kind Regards, Patrik
