  1. She's beautiful ! Well done sir ! Very well done. By the way, whats with the all yellow (naked ?) woman near the kitchen ?!
  2. As other have been offering theirs, I thought I'd throw my hat into the ring ... rest of scene at : http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/84065
  3. apologies if this has already been blogged, but noticed that the "pot of gold" that comes with the Leprachaun has two raised dimples on the neck of the pot - that allow the "bucket handle" (http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=95344) from the recent PotC and Kingdowms sets - to clip on ! :) sorry of that's old news, but I was chuffed !
  4. Having felt my way through way too many packs - for the Roman Soldier feel for the spear (it is the only Series 6 CMF with such a long piece) or the shield (as it is slightly curved with a stud in the centre of it and a handle on the reverse). Liberty - fel for the 2x2x2 wedge that is her "legs" - this only appears in 2 of the Series 6 CMFs (Spanish dancer is the other one) and then check for the "tablet" (1x2 tile) liberty os holding, or her "torch" or spikey headpiece (as the Spanish Dancer has a bun in her hair and a very distinctive fan). Once your thumb and forefingers have toughened up you'll be ripe for Series 7 ! :) Happy feeling !
  5. WHSmith on Argyle Street Glasgow has min 3 boxes (they only had one out, but after 15 minutes of feeling my way through packets the manager brought out two more boxes - what a nice man, full of Christmas goodwill) - though as I bought 50 (fifty) minfigs (one each for my 2 kids plus a few for myself) yesterday stocks a little depleted now ... ! including total of 10 roman soldiers, 5 minotaurs, 4 leprachauns ... !) roll on series 7 !
  6. TLG's announcement amounts to an early Christmas present ! Thanks TLG Awesome news. what's there not to like - the most excellent toy ever, combined with the most excellent fantasy story ever. Perfect !
  7. excellent work !
  8. as usual some sense and wisdom from Derfel Cadarn. Given that the Hobbit film is due for release end 2012 there seems some sense in an LotR theme being mid/late 2012 ... ... I am very excited at the prospect, but fearful for my wallet ... ! :)
  9. am loving the lava - excellent, well done !
  10. Awesome. Inspirational. Well done. where did you get the signs from ?
  11. I am not familiar with any of your MOCs Rolltron. I am not aware of any of them having been posted on the front pages of Eurobricks. If you don't like what's on offer, please don't bother with downing what is a very positive initiative from someone who has created some simply AWESOME models. You're entitled not to like, but until you've wowed us with you creative genius, please keep your opinions to yourself. put up, or shut up.
  12. Brilliant. Can't wait. Have been planning, and acquiring parts, for ages now. Have 10 buildings, 8 based on the MMV ones (though all different colours) plus the Daniel Siskind Blacksmiths and Crossroads Tavern, plus his windmill on the hill for the fields. have some fields (wheat, barley, maize, cabbages, etc) and plenty of ideas, but not enough time, and probably lack of confidence that it'll look awesome - though I suspect that with what Maydayartist has been up to, and now this offering from your fine creative genius, may just make that final push ! Onward ! And upward.
  13. excellent idea - but the links aren't working, so can't see what's been made. the list of shops is spot on !
  14. really liking the stained glass windows - excellent !
  15. I placed an order with S@H (UK) on 28th October but didn't receive the double points - so called Customer Service and they were added within the hour ...
  16. Thanks Matt - yeah, I'd kind of been thinking along these lines ... guess it's time to crack open the box and get experimenting ?! efullner - any chance we could see some pictures of your experiments ?! They sound good.
  17. Hi. This is my first post, so please forgive any stupidity on my part (and lack of avatar etc). Although I really love the Emerald Night (still in it's box mind you), I was wondering about rebuilding it as a 4-4-0 or 4-6-0 model loco (just for a bit of variety). Does anyone know any examples of this ? or pitfalls that may be encoutered attempting it (i.e. rarity of dark green bricks limiting options) ? Thanks
