I think TT made a great decision to merge the two different versions of Snape. Did anyone notice in the game that the uniforms are the first version from SS and CoS just darker. I hope they change it to the new version.

They look nice. Would have been nice to have gotten Dumbledore in that outfit in actual LEGO minifig form. Are those supposed to be shoes they are wearing? It looks strange. Looking at the sets again, Harry is wearing the same jacket torso in the Burrow and the Train sets, I wish they could have given him a little variation.

An easier way would to go to BrickLink for extra torsos. It might be cheaper but maybe not because there will be only one rare Slytherin torso.

I know it is supposed to be Ms. Norris but LEGO really messed up the coloring or I am color blind and have always thought she was gray in the films. Or in DH she was dyed orange just for the heck of it. But I agree with Ravenxl7, im gonna use this cat as Crookshanks and get a gray cat on BrickLink for Ms. Norris.

Yeah the cone piece on Harry's broom is very random. I love the points system on the Quidditch set. I think the train would have been great if another character was added, maybe Hermione in muggle clothes or an extra compartment and a dementor to make the set even more random and not book significant. I also think the cat in the Hogwarts set is supposed to be Crookshanks because of the color.

Thanks for the high res pics! Did anyone notice on the Hogwarts Express pic that Ron's and Draco's heads are swapped? LOL And did you notice something is one Harrys broom in the Castle set? To me these pics are more prototypes than the ones at the toy fair. A big example is Molly. I like the angry Harry side! Very good so he isn't smiling all the time. Molly's face is fine to me and I hope Arthur's is double sides because I HATE the grin. Also the Ron in the Hagrid's Hut set looks exactly like OotP Ron imo. And I think the Hermione will look good with her old hair piece. If you look at the LEGO game website it shows Hermione with this new face and old hair and it looks good! I also thin the owls are only printed when they are important owls, like Hedwig and Errol. Hagrids Hut and the Hogwarts Express have grown on me because of all the extras them come with like chocolate frogs, owls, mushrooms, etc. I am happy with the sets, I have so many extra pieces from the last Harry Potter sets that I can swap them out. I am HAPPY and PUMPED for these sets! Perfect timing, right around my birthday and the Holidays!

LOVE THE PICS! THANK YOU!!!! But Mcgonagal and Snape need CAPES! And the wand color variety isn't that good. But I don't think these are finals because of the Ron figures having different hair styles. And disagree, they are no smaller than previous ones, these have so much more detail than the other sets! Oh and Mcgonagal, Luna, and Molly NEED wands! CAN'T WAIT FOR THEM!

So I saw a PoP LEGO commercial and I hope the Harry Potter sets have advertisements and commercials because it would help them sell better. Also do you think they are gonna release key chains and magnets for the new Harry Potter sets?

I agree, I don't know if those features are worth the extra money. I would like to see the Shield up close. And all the footage will be eventually released online. I would have loved it it came with exclusive figures! Would have been better.

The capes started to fringe at the bottom as they get older. I solved it by spray painting them with black of course and they stay like brand new! I don't know how they would hold on? It would look weird. But if they just had the broom straight and the tail not curved and some color I would be happy. I mean LEGO have even started to give the owls more detail! I was looking through the photos and noticed that the wands colors are not different colors between the characters. Harry, Ron, and Hermione are all holding brown wands in the Hagrids Huts set pics. I hope they are more varied in color

The cape that Lupin came with is perfect with the sand blue Dumbledore. The thing I didn't like about the capes is that the came apart easily. A new broom stick would have been cool, especially with it being able to go between their legs. They could have made the Nimbus 2000 brown, Nimbus 2001 black, and the Firebolt dark red.

I think the stars were just for decoration because all the students had the star capes and only Harry had the invisibility cloak. I think the purple cloak that came with Harry sometime in the sets was the invisibility cloak, like the Marauders Map set he was wearing the purple cape. And you guys are right, the new designs for the students with the front and back uniform design and the new black legs look good and don't need the capes.

I think the game will make me want the new sets even more! I'm sure I will get new ideas for custom figs. I am curious to see all the characters they left out especially from Goblet of Fire like Cedric and Fleur. I have a question for you guys and gals. Do you like the figures with capes/cloaks or without them? I actually really liked them and wish LEGO would have kept including them on the figs. All my figs wear them.

Disagree! These have so much more detail than the old ones! LEGO has improved so much more with their work since the first sets and I am happy that they are releasing these with the new details. The colors and mini figs will go perfect with the old ones.

I really doubt that LEGO would sell the sets way before its release date. It would be smart that come October when they are released they also get released in the park. I am so glad that I knew it was April Fools Day when that came out. I saw the Leaky Cauldron page frist and it was change to a Glee fan page. Then I saw the DH 3 part movie news and knew it was a joke. It would help with getting more sets though....

No, the Ravenclaw/Hufflepuff stand was an extra if you bought the first Quidditch set at ToysRUs. They included the pieces

I wonder if they are going to release exclusive content of the sets. Like with the CoS sets, there was an exclusive Ravenclaw/Hufflepuff Quidditch stand. And then for GoF, there was an edition of Durmstrang ship that included Dumbledore, Harry, Ron, and Hermione. I won't buy multiple sets of any of these, just one is good. The release of the LEGO game has been pushed to June. :( Maybe they are working on updating the game with the new set designs.

He is not included in that set, or Hogwarts. The Burrow is Ron's house, but I can see where they are coming from because the set is focused on the attack from HBP and Ron was not in the main attack. They should have included Tonks and Lupin
