  1. Thank you . The steering works manually (due to the leg of infrared stuff), true a 20 tooth bevel gear between the 2 signal lights Each axle has a different turning radious
  2. Thanks . @98267a, No there is no video and I don't panning on making one, just because everything is manually operated( no PF-infrared is used)I don't see the point of making a video. At my home there just static models even though they have working functions.
  3. Oooh i'm eager to know what you're plans are . I will definitely follow this thread, I think it's going to be massive
  4. Your work is awesome The truck is just stunnning. The detailing is just perfection
  5. Thanks . To be quite honest I surely don't know, I don't have anything to transport but I think it wouldn't be a problem. I already had about 1kg on the trailer and it hold quite good.
  6. Since the last post i've done quitte some work. I've given the truck some interior and started making a lowloader for the truck This was 2 days ago and i would like to present you the finished product. The gooseneck Lowering The support for the gooseneck The lowloader itself Attaching the gooseneck and a few more together with the Daf cranetruck I'm eager to know what you guys think about it
  7. Yes the plan is to make a 3 axled lowloader with attachable/detachable gooseneck but i'm running a bit short on lego, so i need to take a look if i can make the trailer. Otherwise i will make it partly with old studded technic beams
  8. Everybody thanks for the comments. Because the Daf is a bit lonely, i'm already making a new moc. This time it's a Daf 3 axled heavy transport tractor with steered 2nd front axle This was the truck last day. A day later the truck is looking like this Behind the cabin stands a tower which gives place to a large hydraulic tank, air reservoirs and a cooler for the torque converter, on top of the tower are 2 worklights placed Underneath the truck i've made a look a like retarder(torque converter) For now this is still a WIP so stay tuned ;)
  9. Thanks for the reactions. @Unimog123: yes the crane arm is heavily modified, i didn't like the standard single extension and want to make it more accurate with the real thing so the crane now has 3 extensions with a jib with 3 extensions but due to the modification the crane is real heavy, to heavy for the xl motor to unfold it by it's own strenght so it's need manual help unfolding. If you mean the front stabilizer, they are my own design.
  10. Hi y'all. I wanna show you my new MOC. Its a 3 axled Daf 85CF 6x4 crane truck The idea comes to stand after seeing a beautiful Ginaf 6x6 from the dutch company Nederhoff. At first i wanna try to make the same short chassis but wen i went building i found out that it aint gonna workout the way i wanted it. So now its a bit longer but more into scale. The whole truck is completly new and build up from the ground. The trucks cabin can tilt, has interior and underneath the cabin there's a fake 4 cylinder engine(6 cyl was to big). The complete crane was build in red and is supported by 4 stabilizers, the 2 at the crane are free turning and extend 1x, the design is rather simple though. Because a picture says more than a 1000 words.... opening doors interior fake engine stabilizers Any comments are welcome
  11. Thanks everyone @ VFracingteam, yes thats true, i don't like my name on Lowlug so i used my xboxlive name
  12. underneath flap 1 is the handpump for the groundsupport underneath flap 2 are the switches for the liftarm and the groundsupport tell me what you think
  13. Hi everyone I wanna show you my Western star heavy wrecker with century rotator. The build took me almost 2 full weeks. Because i’m not so good at building my own gearboxes i used the standard gearbox from the 8258, the rest of the truck is completely designed by me. The crane has new front stabilizers and is completely PF driven and functions: rotating, elevating and lowering the boom and extension of the boom, it’s 38 studs long and extends to 69 studs. The rear lift arm is also driven by PF and has its own batterybox. The only function is lifting and lowering , the arm is 1x extending. The groundsupport on the rear is pneumatically lowered Because of the fact i cant upload any pictures, Moderators please tell me why??????? i know how to do it but it doesn't work here is my link to my brickshelf gallery : http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=539130
  14. Hi y'all first of all..... I wish everyone the best for 2014 . In the first week of this year i was busy building a heavy wrecker installation for on my 8258 truck, today i finished the complete structure and i'm quite pleased with the result Only problem is i can't upload the pictures of it seems to me that something is wrong with the uploader because he doesn't load the pictures to my tekst :sceptic: can someone help me ??
  15. I dont think so mate, if you look at the LTM11200 than axle 6 and 7 are solid non steerable axles so it can't have crab steering. otherwise i would like to know where you got the information that it can crabsteer, Liebherr's own website doesn't confirm your pronunciation. Crab steering is more common on the lighter 2, 3 and 4 axled cranes.
  16. First of all, in wich class is your crane supposed to be ?? 500 tons 900tons or 1200tons (on scale of course). I think that a 9 axled crane doesn't have crab steering because of the weight of the crane and the fact that not al axles steer on such a big crane. Maybe this could help you further http://lowlug.nl/forums/93/11053.html?hilit=mammoet. this guy build a gigantic liebherr LTM 11200 mobile crane. You probably need to translate the site because it's dutch. I hope this would help you . I'm very inquisitive about your crane
  17. No its not a trick of the eye the trucks rear is 1 stud wider, so i put some bushes on the frontaxles to match the rear track width, with that and the weight gives camber to both front axles
  18. Your steering is rather apart i wouldn't come up with that . For every one who want's to know how my steering works, i have made some pictures the cross joints connected from the second steering axle underneath the gear changers rear steering. full lenght
  19. It took a bit longer than i expected but here are some more photos of the crane and rear steering mechanism The crane Unfolded The jib Fully extended Rear Wheel steering mechanism. The rear Wheel steering is connected to the last front steering axle with 2 cross joints and going true the gearbox. I don't have a clue what's the problem with my pictures?? is there anyone that can explane me what i'm doing wrong
  20. thanks for the comments. @ Rishab N. yes i will do that tomorrow.
