  1. Is this your page? http://www.moc-pages.com/moc.php/415023
  2. Yoda's hut with the cave and a knobby white spider would be fantastic. A T-65 would be great too, but a well-built scene model would suit me just fine.
  3. I'd love some EU sets. I'm probably in the minority as a not-even-a-little-bit an of TFA, and couldn't care less if there's another Poe or Ren fig or ship. Give me a Thrawn, Pellaeon and Noghri set with a command room. Gimme Dash Rendar and the Outrider. Kyle Katarn and the Crow. Jaina Solo and a StealthX. Some Rogues and a proper E-Wing. Biggs Darklighter from Tattooine and a different Skyhopper or landspeeder. Yavin Base. The Errant Venture. Caedus and Ben Skywalker. Cade Skywalker vs Darth Krayt.
  4. I've got all of those except the MTT and I'm still trying to track that one down. The ISD was really cool with the racked turbolaser batteries and the stickers I found useful enough to order more from bricklink. The Tyderium is cool, but still no side printing for Han's pants and they're still giving him Henry Jones hair. Leia's fantastic, and so are the rebel troopers. The Jedi Cruiser I think is a must. Low-ish score on play features, but such a cool build, and the figs are awesome. Ghost and Phantom were interesting, I'm going to try my hand at mocing the Ghost and building a small fleet of that ship to go with my YT 1300 variants. I've built the new Naboo fighter, I like the set, but they could have included either the female pilot or the black pilot this time. I've also got the Imperial Assault Carrier waiting to be built. I was pretty jazzed about the droid and the mini TIE canopies.
  5. Try this part: http://www.bricklink...m.asp?P=2440p69 Size wise I think it's good. The same part from the UCS Blockade Runner looks better but it's also $150 on bricklink.
  6. Why after 16 years is Lego still giving Han the wrong hair? He should have been given this part once it became available. http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=62810
  7. I may have missed something previously posted, but are there any prelims of the Falcon or the new X Wing? I'm curious to see if we finally get the correct canopy piece for the X-Wing. I've had one done up for a 3D printer, but I'll likely have to get it done in black. I'm not aware of anyone printing in anything clear.
  8. I agree Lego is somewhat dropping the ball on female figs, although I did point out to someone recently that there are 41 female characters in Star Wars with figs. They've still overlooked Beru, any of Padme's handmaidens, Yaddle, several variants of Padme, the female pilot from Bravo Squadron, Palpatine's bald assistant, and that's not even getting into the EU goldmine they ignored for 16 years.
  9. I wound up getting both but if I had to pick only one, I'd get the Star Destroyer set. They just made so many cool changes, plus the new figs are really neat. I've got the previous SD set, as well as an incomplete UCS set that I'm still collecting parts for. For various reasons, I'm a fan of all of them.
  10. At least for now, I'd have the display space, as my LUG has a somewhat permanent display at a local mall. Most of my SW collection is out there, along with our train layout.
  11. It's totally worth the time and money. What a cool design that was. I'm still thinking about picking up a second one, and trying to convince folks in my LUG that we should attempt a minifig scale version, which would work out to slightly less than double the length of the UCS Falcon.
  12. I'd really like to see capes replaced on characters that didn't have capes. The Jedi and Sith had robes. Vader, Lando, and Dooku were among the few characters actually wearing capes. I know the practicality of attaching robes to figs is a bit more of a headache, but for sake of accuracy I'd pop my figs' arms out if they actually made robe pieces. As it is, I used the over-the-neck robes from the graduate and the judge for as many JEdi and Sith characters as possible, and the judge robes on an Imperial Guard look great.
  13. I agree with the comments about including the pair of guards when they could have really stepped things up and included Sate Pestage, and an area with some view screens and galactic maps etc. Another Death Star trooper with that massive helmet would have been neato too. As it is, I'll buy it, like I buy everything.
  14. Please forgive me if I'm posting this in the wrong area. I'm not a Ninjago collector, but a leaked pic of 70570 Mobile Ninja Base (if I remember correctly) showed what appeared to me to be a rescaled UCS X Wing canopy in trans black. It looked narrower across the front appearing to be 4 studs across, not six, and had 2 studs on top, not 4. Did anyone else see this and can anyone confirm or correct me? If this is the actual scaled-to-minifig size, I'm buying a billion of those things for my X Wing Mocs.
  15. I could be wrong, (it's happened before) but I don't think the Rebels point in the timeline would include the Interceptor, as it was built in response to an Alliance fighter that isn't in service yet. Again, I could be wrong, and they could always decide to release the ship before it existed, like the E-Wing remodelled as a Jedi Stealth Fighter.
  16. My son is a bit anachronistic. He prefers the trad heads, I'm the one who wants the fleshies. We've wound up each getting our own copies of all the fig-included Lego books. I'm pretty focussed on collecting the Star Wars sets, he's into everything.
  17. Netflix will apparently be offering all 13 completed episodes of Clone Wars season 6 starting March 7.
  18. EU.... Jade's Fire/Jade's Shadow A Skipray Blastboat. A Cloakshape fighter. V Wing airspeeder (Rogue Squadron game) Sun Crusher The command deck of a Star Destroyer, with Thrawn, Pellaeon, Mara Jade, and the Noghri. A Nebulon Frigate. A Gallofree Yards freighter K Wing Bomber Yavin Base Obi Wan's hut The Lars/Skywalker home
  19. True, but at least they've tried more than one mold with Luke. Han's never had the clean cut side part.
  20. Most Imperial structures and vehicles were done in grey, with some exceptions. To the best of my knowledge (and please correct me if I'm wrong) diplomatic craft like the Lamda shuttles and some landing craft were white. The newer bley (or bluish grey) bricks seem to work quite nicely. The old grey bricks had too much of a brown cast to them and worked better when I was trying to build something old and weathered. Rebel bases and vehicles, owing to the fact that many times they were older and pre-used, wouldn't necessarily have a uniformity to them, and could be built in a variety of colours while having an "authentic" look to them.In some cases, a patchwork appearance for a Rebel base would look really good, but wouldn't suit an Imperial setting, and too new/clean/uniform wouldn't always suit an Alliance construction.
  21. Please forgive if this is posted on the wrong thread.... What are the chances that Lego will finally release a Han Solo fig with bloodstripes on his legs and the correct hair? The toy soldier that came with the minifig book last year has the right kind of printing on the sides of the legs. Luke's hair has changed several times over the years but Han's is still wrong.
  22. This is a beautiful build! What did you use to invert the 12x3 wedges for the bottom? I've got some of the old finger style hinges I was going to try for the same effect but I've been working on my Stealth X squadron, and my A Wings are on the back burner.
  23. To answer my own question about TCW, it's wrapped up with Cartoon Network. No surprise there. It's going to continue in a different form, most likely 2 hour stories. More stories = more sets for us. There's still so much untapped CW and EU stuff that Lego needs to jump on....
  24. Okay, help me out here folks. I've heard that there will not be any more Clone Wars in partnership with CN. My understanding from an interview with Dave is they're wrapping the story under the Disney banner. Am I wrong? As for lego not making any more CW sets, has there been an official announcement to that effect? Nobody in my 'LUG has reposted anything like that and we've got some pretty serious SW fans who manage to find ANYTHING and repost within the group. Can someone please post something official in a reply here?
  25. The E-Wing AKA stealth fighter is cool, I'm kind of annoyed that they've skewed the timeline with it tho. I think Lego should take notes from Hasbro, and maybe start taking polls for fan favourites, in terms of things that have not yet been released in Lego. I'd love an official Outrider set w Dash Rendar and Leebo, Grand Admiral Thrawn's way overdue, Mara Jade's been in print for decades now, The Solo and Skywalker clans, the Yuuzhan Vong and the New Jedi Order haven't been tapped at all yet. I'd love to see a Suncrusher, or an Interdictor Cruiser, or a Nebulon B.
