Hi L@go, Wow, what great work! Since I'm unfamiliar with the LEGO Adventure Book(s) and am considering purchasing the upcoming edition, would you mind clarifying something for me: Is this gas station MOC detailed in the Adventure Book, Volume 2? Or only the cars and hot-rods you have pictured? Thanks so much!

This is my first eurobricks post (though I've been a long time lurker), but your model was the straw that broke the camel's back and got me to register! I agree with the suggestion about it being very grey. Perhaps making the mansard part out of darker (black?) bricks would break up the monotany of the greyness. Also, is there room to add a small overhang (or even an awning) above the top-story windows? You could utilize a contrasting color there. Lastly, maybe try out some colored tiles (1x1 rounds, 1x2s) in lieu of the grey tiles used for the edge/pillar detail? Very nice build...reminiscent (to me) of Green Grocer in some aspects.
