I got Ehlek, Kalmah, Carapar, and Mantax at TRU yesterday. I thought you guys would want pics, so here I go. First we will start with Ehlek, who went from my second favorite to my fourth favorite. Here is some box art.I found the box art too be very good. The front shows Ehlek in a nice position, but he is in an even better pose on the back. And the instruction booklet too. Here is what Ehlek looks like. A nice color, and the claws are good too, but he is in need of armor. By this pic, you can see exactly why my ranks for this guy went down. No protection at all. It is even worse the the 2007 Exo-Force mechs, those looked sort of anoerexic too. At least he has the cool spikes. His legs are in need of a little armor at the top, but I like his feet. Here you can see the sea squid launcher. It has a claw underneath, so that is good. I found that the sea squid launcher was rather dissapointing. They seemed to shoot really fast but they fall to the ground. I found the best way to shoot was apply it like this, hold the ring under it with one hand, pull the sea squid back to the end of the middle thing, and then let it go. Ehlek's claws, to my happiness, are very good and will be valuable for MOCing. They are, IMO, the best part of the set. And lastly, here is what the mask looks like. Not bad, especially compared to Pridak's. ;-) Final verdict: The first time I saw the picture of Ehlek, I just had to have him. The claws, the colors, the mask all screamed out at me to buy him. But when I got him, I was rather dissapointed. He justs needs more armor, and definately a better torso. He is now my fourth favorite. 8/10 Next is Carapar, a big thumbs up because of the amount of armor he has. Here is the boxart, having the usual pose we have seen him in. And the instruction booklet. Finally presenting the amazing the amazing Carapar! One of the main reasons I love Carapar is the amount of heavy armor he has. The color isn't too bad either Covering his torso is a huge armor plate. Ehlek could've used it a lot more though. :-| He even has shoulder armor too. There is also a nifty holder for his squids on his left shoulder. The mask is also pretty nice too. I love the Barraki pincers. They just look nice. I found the best part of the set not his armor nor his mask, but his claw totally dominates. The blades could be useful for building, and they are definately more capable than Mantax's. Final verdict: I didn't think too much about Carapar the first time I saw him. I was gonna get him for sure, but he was about my fourth favorite. Well, now he has switched places with Ehlek. Ehlek is now my fourth favorite and Carapar is now my second. There is only one thing wrong with him; nothing. I think he is perfect in every way, give him a 10/10 ,and reccomend getting him. As great as Carapar is, there has always been a Barraki that was my favorite. He was my favorite when I first saw him and after getting him he is still my favorite. And his name is.............................................................................. ................................................................................ . ................................................................................ . ............Kalmah. I just love his color scheme, his armor, mask, weapon, and even though I still said Carapar is perfect, he is still better than Carapar. First is the boxart and the instructions. What you've all been waiting for, here is a real picture of Kalmah. To my extreme happiness, his tentacle is flexible, not completely stiff. Unlike the other Barraki, Kalmah hold his squid in the back. A little different, but still all right. Kalmah's mask is my favorite Barraki one because of the three eyes and the tentacles at the top. I, like Grievous, found the Barraki able to get in a variety of poses and had a little fun with them. AWW, that's the spot. Right there. AWWW... KALMAH! It's you! I was just uh.. Seeing how much it would hurt the Matoran if I clawed they're butt. YAH! That's what I was doing. STOP STARING AT ME!! TOG...MUST.. RESIST... SUCKING ON FOOT! Why Kalmah shouldn't have gotten the automatic tentacle."Tentacle... malfunctioning..again... Thanks for reading. :-)

Well, if I put the river outside the cave that would make the Cave set bigger and I would only have four sets. I will probably stick to your first idea, but I may do a few mini fish like you suggested.

Thanks for the instructions, Jeffrey. When I went out tonight I bought another Shadow Crawler because I took mine apart for my Shadow Crawler alternate model(see the topic "Shadow Phantom) but I bought another Cyclone Defender as well to make your alternate. I will try to make it tomorrow and I may post what I think about it. Oh, and Vahkimetru, it seems our favorite comic writer is retiring. Yes, Bill Amend, writer of Fox Trot, has officially retired after writing for about 19 years. He will still do Sunday strips though, but I am still really sad. :'-( :'-( Oh, and my Shadow Crawler alternate is now up too.

Hey guys. I was thinking of seeing a air vehical in '07(this was before the new set pics) and I decided to make my own. I thought a Shadow Crawler would be a good alternate for this. If you want instructions, please post and I will try to get to it soon. So without further adu, I present the Shadow Phantom! Equipped with laser cannons, destroyer disc launcher, two missles,a claw, and a laser light in the back, this beauty could give the Sky Guardian a run for it's money. On the bottom of the Shadow Phantom, there is a prison pod, which contains either a dead or alive human. Being upside down could be hellish for poor prisoners. The left wing has a destroyer disc launcher. On the right wing there are two powerful laser cannons. The cockpit is well guarded too, with two laser cannons, plenty of protection from the wind screen, two missles, and of course an Exo-Code to power the machine up. At the very front of the mech is the claw, which could damge the target badky by diving at it. And at the very back is the "tail" which has a little laser light in the back to shoot enemies from behind. Hope you like it and if you want instructions just say. EDIT: All right, I have changed the weapons now. Here is the improved Shadow Phantom!! The left wing has been changed to a more powerful and rapid firing duo cannon. It is much more threatening now. After all the discs would fly out in the air when the Shadow Phantom's did loops and such, Mecha One decided to update the Shadow Phantom. The right wings weapon was replaced with a gatling cannon and the left one is now a duo cannon too. As much as the wings changed, the tail and the nose weren't changed at all. The cockpit changed too. The two guns are different at the ends and the missles were replaced with spikes. I also change how much the orb covers the cockpit. Before After I will try to post instructions tommorow(here in my state it is 11:19 PM, Jan 6th so tommorrow would be around 9:00 PM for most of you guys. Obviously there is a huge time difference. Well, today I got four of the Barraki at my local TRU. I got Ehlek, Kalmah, Carapar, and Mantax. I'll post a review for all of them except Mantax since you already got him.

what do you mean? You helped me with the crocodile idea and you gave me the idea of paintings in caves as well.

Wow! These are a lot of posts I missed when I went to school! Exo-Attack: I had an idea similar to the catapult in the volcano which is why I said it would interrupt. And I think your idea about the paint hands in the cave is a great idea. I will probably use that. And your crocodile idea is great too. I might use that. it would have them either crossing a bridge and they fall in the water or they will be on a raft and encouter crocs. I will make my own crocs, instead of getting juniorzed ones. Starwars4J:By time era I mean the times when cavemen first walked the earth. I have, with much thinking, decided to have two sets with dinos. One, like the Brickster suggested, will have a little baby dino just hatched, and it tries to eat a cavemen. It will be a small set. The next one will have two cavemen searching for a bear with a horse drawn wheel vehicle(it will be the first use of the wheel, so it will have rollers. The next two will have a sabortooth attacking three cavemen in their cave. Then there will be a crocodile swamp scene. And the biggest set will have a huge volcano with four cavemen, a T-Rex, and one of the cavemen will be using a mammoth to fight the T-Rex. Phred: Thanks for the links. Well, from what I've seen I like 2007 a lot more. The first year a Lego theme is released, they stick to easy designs to get people to start buying the products. But the year after, the designers get more creative and make the designs like nothing you've ever seen. Example: 2006 Exo-Force was very organized, nothing too crazy or wild. But now for 2007 Exo-Force you see wild designs that look like nothing you've ever seen, like Ha-Ya-To's new mech, or the set that has the new huge vehicle and Ryo's flying mech. I like stuff that brings your eye out to look at it more, and I think 2007 Exo-Force did a very good job with that. So I voted for 2007. What do you guys think? Vote and please post. :-)

I've played this game, and it is really fun. When I play it , I have four characters. I start with Takeshi, Ryo, Hikaru, and Mecha One. You can unlock Ha-Ya-To if you win and there is another character too, probably Sensei.

All, right, you have a point. But it is stil DEFINATELY not a tank. It is a bigger version of the X-1 Rammer, and it is friggin' awesome! The more I look at these sets, the more I learn and the more I like them. I'm begginning to love the Golden Tower, as it is the only really important Golden City building, and the mech that comes with it is simply awesome. At first I thought the flying mech only had two missles and a duo shooter, but if you look back by the jets you can see a little shooter. This means it is just as powerful as the Sonic Phantom, but perhaps not as fast. I've never had a favorite pilot, but with his amazing mech, Ha-Ya-To is my favorite, then Takeshi, then Ryo , then Hikaru. Ha-Ya-To's mech is probably the most poweful Exo-Force mech by far, with a good color scheme, three huge jets, 7 laser cannons, and a bunch of missles too. This is my favorite Exo-Force mech BY FAR, including the robot ones. And the huge vehicle one is probably in my top five too. I love everything about this set, even if the car is a bit thrown together in some parts. The turret looks nice, the head is great too, the Infantry units are a good feature, and so are the flanking little mechs. The mech Ryo use is also great, even though there are no permanent shooters, but it has missles at least. The claws and color scheme look great too. I just love these sets, and I think '07 is much better than '06.

You guys, when you say Ha-Ya-To's cockpit is bad, you are saying the same about the Cyclone Defender's. Ha-Ya-To's mech is basically a Cyclone Defender that is blue and has a jetpack. Same cockpit, same legs, same everything. I really wish that we knew the names.

Hey guys, I'm trying to make my own lego theme called B.C. Do you think you could give me some info. Did they have horses in prehistoric times? Could you name some of the prehistoric animals? Oh, and I'll need a lot of plain brown torsos, yellow legs, and brown capes too. Maybe you guys could point out a link for me? What I have so far... One set( the biggest one) is going to have a volcano that can erupt and a T-Rex and a bunch of cave men dudes with teeth for daggers, torches, and spears. Another one will have the cave where the cavemen stay, but a huge sabor tooth is attacking! Can the cavemen defeat him before it is too late? Another one will have a horse pulled B.C. vehicle and the cavemen will be searching a huge Mammoth. i have a couple more ideas, but I need more B.C. creatures. Please post :-)

SWEET MOTHER OF- never mind. :-D Dang, these sets are cookin'! First is the robot vehicle(FYI, it is not a tank. Tanks have treads) I'm getting this baby for sure. With it's huge wheels, the turret( Meca One operates it by the way. That's a good thing, by the way. Meca One deserves to shoot, not operate his huge vehicles.), the flanking air vehicles, the infantrys, and of course Ryo's mech, this is one hell of a set. Ryo's design is very original, and I love that it has huge Ehlek claws, a missle launcher, and two small missles as well. Plus the fact that this is Ryo's first flying mech just makes this set rock. Golden Tower: I think that this set and Ha-Ya-To's pimped up Cyclone Defender are NOT summer sets. The Golden Tower must be about 300 pieces and Ha-Ya-To's is probably 200-250. Anyways, the Golden Tower is alright with nothing too special about it, but I think the flying mech is way COOL! I'm sort of mad that they didnt give Hikaru a small mech with this set, but that is that. I mean come on! How is he gonna beat a smaller but sweeter Sonic Phantom with katana blades? Anyways,I'll get this set too. Ha-Ya-To's- This mech is wicked! It is basically a blue Cyclone Defender with a huge jetpack, and it makes up for Ha-Ya-To's past crappy mechs. This beauty has seven laser cannons, a fir ing missle, three rockets and three jets, and a bunch of wings. Definately getting it. TT, what are the names of these sets? Do you know when they are released, because the last two seem like they are before sumer, like the Sonic Phantom and Gate Assault. THx.

Thx again for the pics, Christian. All right, here are my final thoughts. The dragons are definetly too <insert that tiresome argument>, probably as much as the Harry Potter 4 one., but, maybe LEGO will take a hint and make new designs. The castle... WOW! This castle is ten times better than last years. I've been wanting a castle like this for a long time, and the drawbidge and catapults are nice too. Definately a set I will get. The carriage. This carriage looks a bit like the one in KK2, but much more improved with the ghost horses and spikes. I'm also glad to see a brown horse. YAHH! Evil dude's castle. This has been the best bad guy castle yet(except Vladeks Dark Fortress. That set rocks.). The prison cell is similar to the Scorpion Prison cave one, but much better and hopefully not as badly put together. I'm getting this one too for sure. The skeletons I love these new skeletons, but they're weapons are definately the best yet(IMO). I'm seeing a scythe, mace, a couple of spears, some regular sword, and If I'm not mistaken the short sharper ones seem to be machetes. Definately awesome. And the greatest improvement of all are the catapults(not my fav. thing though.). The new ones are almost actual sized, not WAY too big, or those dumb horse catapults, but just about the right size. The spear shooter looks absolutely fantastic, very original for lego. All in all, I am very excited about this new castle theme. I will most likely get all of them.

i played that game, and I also noticed. It is just a bit of gold and blue on the torso but the rest is white. His hair looks different, too.
